3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Boozey smell and flavor, no head or lacing. On cask at Deckards in Atlanta. Tiny ring of bubbles, brown in color. Thin texture for a stout. Bourbon back notes on the pallet. One is a great starter beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle from both Atlaggie and Ucusty. Pours near black with small dark tan head. Aromas of vanilla and milk chocolate with some roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate and some vanilla with decent amount roast. Has nice aroma and flavor is ok, but main issue is that body is thin. Still a pretty nice stout overall though.

Very good stuff! Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is cocoa, and or baker’s chocolate. Very smooth chocolate taste, with lactose present. Slightly creamy on tongue, with a burnt chocolate finish that is short, but sticky.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours very dark, pitch black. 2 finger mocha colored head with decent retention.
Smell is light but first you’ll pick up some roasted barley, small coffee ground, sweetness from the chocolate and milk notes. Nice aroma.
Taste is pretty much more of the same but the sweetness that is noted in the aroma takes a little bit more presidence. Dark chocolate, cocoa, and lactose up front. A small bitterness from the coffee taste sits on the tongue. Overall a nice tasting stout. Just wanted a little more ummpphh!
Mouthfeel is very smooth and silky. A little bit on the lighter side of medium bodied but still nic

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample from bottle at 2012 Columbia World Beer Festival. Rich, dark chocolate roasted malt. Tastes like woody, roasted malt chocolate milk, true to form. Maybe a bit thin but otherwise quite good.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 120z bottle purchased at The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. Odd aromas lofting off an incredibly sized head remind the taster of burnt liver. Second thought is spoiled lactose but not so. Thankfully, this flavor does not impart itself to the unique and richly chocolate taste. On the thin size for gravity and body, but no compromises on flavor. If you’re a chocolate fan and/or a milk stout lover, you should investigate.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This has no real negative qualities but lacks any real aspects that make it outstanding. A nice creamy chocolate taste and mild malt. Not too hoppy and a little thin. But it works for what it is

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma has some chocolate but not as much as I wanted. It does have burnt malt and coffee. The appearance is dark brown with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall a good beer to drink but way to watery and thin.

Nice beer. Tried it our local Beerfest. What you expect from TerrPin. Well crafted chocolate stout that doesn’t sit too heavy or overdo the chocolate flavoring

Bottle. Drank this one late so I need to rerate with better notes, because I recall really liking it. Maltball and flat milk goodness. Chocolate, malt, and lightly creamy.
