Phenomenal sweet stout. Smooth with the good balance of chocolate and a hint of milk taste. Not at all filling. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (12 oz). Thanks to biere_froide for this one! Beer is black with a medium beige head and nice lacing. Aroma is acidic (lactic acid?), roasted malt, coffee, caramel and chocolate. Taste of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate. Interesting finish that remind me of an iced cappuccino. Some bitterness. Acidic presence in the mouthfeel. Medium body. Correct stout. Taste is interesting (special).

Great beer. Dark, creamy, lots of aroma. I could get used to this. Grab a few of these on a cold winter night. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of Chaney. Thanks Brandon! A: The beer appears opaque and black with pockets of bubbles teeming in the glass. The head is an inch thick and appears beige in color. It fades within a few moments to a thin, wispy layer, leaving a healthy sheet of lacing in its wake. S: Chocolates and chocolate milk, with a hint of slightly charred milk chocolate M&Ms. T: I have to laugh a little, as this really tastes like chocolate milk beer. Not to be confused with chocolate stout or milk stout, this is chocolate milk stout. In addition to the prevalent chocolate flavors, there is a nice, somewhat subdued roasted malt presence. If there were a bit more going on, I would consider upping the flavor score. Although the beer is tasty, it is one dimensional. M: Medium bodied, nice feel. Alcohol content well hidden. D: Fun, interesting, and well done. An overall enjoyable experience. However, one of these is plenty. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 12-17-2010

Taken from old notes. Black pour with a nose of chocolate and sweetness. Taste is the same with a little hope presence. Nice sweet stout.

First pour has a small head, not quite what I had expected. Aroma hints of evergreens, expresso, and chocolate. Smooth mouth feel, taste bitter chocolate, citrus, juniper, whiskey and coffee. All around a good stout went well with BBQ chicken. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From notes: Poured opaque ink-black, with a 1-finger dark tan head. Aroma is mild; dairy mixed with cocoa. Medium body, with a slightly dry finish. Creamy flavor up front giving way to some sweet malt. The chocolate then shows in the finish and lingers nicely. Different, but really good.
