12oz bottle poured into a snifter, sweet chocolate all the way, lacks the bitter coffee after taste some chocolate stouts have with them. If you want a medium bodied sweet chocolate stout, look no further.

12 oz bottle compliments of jbruner. Amazing ink black pour into an English pint. Half inch tan head disappeared quickly. Sweet aroma of malt and lactose. Flavor follows the nose closely. A lot of sweetness upfront with some cocoa in the background. I would have hoped for the mouthfeel to be a bit thicker and more slick for the style. Very tasty and quite drinkable!

The Moo-Hoo poured without much head at all (which surprised me), and it poured a nice dark brown/almost black (like motor oil). But, other than pouring without much head, this is a super tasty & aromatic beer. Lots of chocolate flavor, a super rich maltiness, and an almost smoky characteristic that is really enjoyable. An above average chocolate milk stout, but I have had better. Maybe its age? I know this isn’t super fresh… so maybe next year I could be lucky enough to enjoy this fresh! (If so, I will amend my review!)

2011 12oz bottle. Def get the stoutness of it but not much milk chocolate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Everything you would expect from this chocolate milky stout is here. Its not nearly as sweet as I was expecting, reading through the reviews. It makes a good dessert beer but I could have this any time. It advertises itself as "limited time" on the label. Sure hope not, because this is one of the better beers Terrapin has ever put out.

Bottle. Poured a deep shade of black with a razor thin tan head. Lactose, cocoa, leather. Medium carbonation, medium body. I’ve had far better milk stouts

Bottle. The look is brown to black in color, thin tannish head. The smell is chocolate, roasty, malts, sweet, and dusty. The taste is roast, malts, ok, and chocolate.

Pulled this off my shelf ... vintage 2010. Dark brown with an off white head. Aromas of chocolate, earthy, malted milk balls, and roasty. Tastes follow.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Il Padrino. Pours dark brown with a stern, creamy beige head. Milky chocolate nose with roasted malt accents. Medium sweet flavor with some dusty malts and milk chocolate. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with still more milk chocolate character, still more dusty malts, subtle roast. Decent stuff on the whole.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark brown-black with a thin tan head. Aroma of rich roasted malt, milk chocolate, and a hint of maple syrup. Taste is sweet milk chocolate and cream, charred wood, toffee, with a light coffee bitterness.

Pours a coffee black with a little tan head. Aromas of chocolate milk and some yeast. Taste is big time milk chocolate with some slight bittering hops, but nothing tastes artificial. Extremely drinkable stout, and one of the better offerings I’ve had from Terrapin.
