Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, chocolate, sweet chocolate, roasted notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120419]

Bruce’s Birthday Bash at the Craft Clerkenwell. Cheers to Peter for this one. Opaque black - brown beer, little pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry. Powdery dark chocolate. Semi sweet. Light dry finish. Not bad if a bit one dimensional.
