Pours a dark chocolate brown with a finger of head that quickly dissipates but leaves a trace of lacing behind on the glass. There are some mild roasted malt notes in the nose. The roasted malt flavor is present, but relatively light. This offering is not as creamy or sweet as most milk stouts, but the distinct taste of cocoa more than makes up for the lack of sweet notes. There is a bitter finish to this that is slightly out of style as well. Very good, and certainly not the adult version of Yoo-Hoo as some have described it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. It pours black with a small brown head. The aroma has lots of Nestle Quik. Powdered chocolate with hints of coffee. The flavor has sweet, creamy lactose and cocoa powder. More light coffee notes. Low roasted malt and low earthy bitterness. Pretty sweet overall with a nice medium to full body. Pretty satisfying, but very sweet.

DWF; Bottle 50 CL, take away from Systembolaget, Karlstad. Pours moderate, dark brown with a somewhat lasting, lacing, frothy to creamy, light tan head. Nose is moderat malt and chocolate, light vanilla and whispering spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter, balancing, with a lasting dry chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Black with small beige shortlasting head. Aroma is chocolate, chocolate milk and vanilla. Chocolate milk even more recognizable in the taste. Together with vanilla, chocolate and some malt (but not much). Very sweet.

Konyakmeggyes, kakaóporos aromák, belga csokoládés, rumos jegyek röppennek fel a pohárba töltést követően, melyet krémes alapokon elkent, közepes szemű szénsavbuborékokkal tarkított test feltűnése követ. A műfajtól nem túl idegen jellemvonásként enyhén vizes szerkezetbe ágyazottak az ízjegyek, a tejcsokoládés színezetű, édeskésre pörkölt maláta tejesen krémes vonalai mégis lágyan simulnak a nyelvünkre. Édesszájú fogyasztókra tervezett, a minőséget azonban nem másodlagos szempontként kezelő főzet.

Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter av sjokolade og litt lakris. Smaker sřdme og veldig av sjokolade. Absolutt en god sřt stout.

355 ml bottle, bb 1.8.2016
Dark brown body, with a big, stable, creamy, lacing, dark beige to brown head.
Aroma with lots of cocoa and milk chocolate, lactose, hazelnut, vanilla, some dark fruits.
Taste follows this, with some more toast and subtle coffee notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, a bit roasty, with cocoa, lactose, toast, some nuts, some dark fruits.

Very nice. Perfectly matching the name of the beer, with lots of lovely chocolate and milk notes, but not too sweet, really well balanced. Not my favourite style example overall, while still satisfying, characterful stuff.

355 ml bottle. Black body with a small beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate with a hint of vanilla, quite strong on the chocolate. Flavor is sweet milk chocolate, sweet lactose, cocoa and hint of vanilla. Medium body and sweet milk chocolate all the way in the aftertaste. In a way quite nice if you have a sweet tooth or just are found of cocoa/milk drink – not unpleasant at all, but frankly too much additives here and too little beer. Still no problem finishing the bottle.
