Bottle. The pour was a deep dark black with an average sized (1-2 finger) light brown creamy head that dissipated quickly leaving just a little residue around the edges of the glass, which produced some fair lacing. The aroma was of a roasted chocolate malt and a sweet moldy yeast with notes of milk chocolate, coffee, a bit of toffee and lactose sugar. The taste was malty sweet with notes of milk chocolate and toffee from the onset with the finish having a coffee and cream flavor to it. The flavor lasted an average amount of time after the swallow with a nice milky creaminess left at the end. Mouthfeel was just a bit under full in body with the texture being smooth and creamy and having a subtly soft carbonation. Overall a silky sweet creamy brew that sits extremely well on the taste buds. .

Half pint draft at Hop Stop hipster joint in Nashville. Nice unexpected sour flavor surprised me. It's very dry. Sweetness quickly turns try and sour. Not retentive of head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

32 ounce growler from ABC liquor store pours a dark brown color with virtually no head. Seems a bit flat possibly from being in the growler for almost a week. Nice chocolatey aromas. Full-bodied with highly viscous mouth feel. very nice chocolate smooth flavoring. Too bad it's flat if it was properly carbonated would probably rate a lot higher

Pours a dark brown with tan head. Chocolate amd roasted malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some sweetness. A little thin on the mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a foamy tan head. Rich aroma of what else but chocolate milk. Cocoa and vanilla. Palate is overwhelmed with cocoa, and roasted malts with some vanilla. Full bodied. Didn’t expect to love this so much.

Really dig this one. Awesome milk stout with the right amount of chocolate. Too many brewers let the additives be the primary driver of there brew instead of complimenting it and chocolate is the biggest additive that can take over. Terrapin got it just right. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from a fantasy baseball win. Pours a very dark brown with some transparency...not much. Off-white head was very thin and a small ring as well. The nose was chocolate, Milk Duds, cocoa nibs, Nesquick, roasted malts. The taste was not quite as attractive as the nose but not bad. You get the Nesquick cocoa feel to it. Some roasted malts, caramel, vanilla wafer. A little thin. Medium body, mild carbonation. Not bad.

This is a great beer from Terrapin. A great stout base beer that has plenty of creaminess and sweetness from the Milk Sugar. Never a bad time for this beer.

Pours a deep dark brown, nearly black, with a tan head that dissolves quickly. Aroma is milk chocolate, and some roasted malts. Taste is milk chocolate, moderately sweet, with a slight roasted coffee taste. This beer has a creamy texture, with a thick chocolate milk taste. Smooth and easy to drink.. definitely leaves you wanting another one!
