Bottle. The pour was a deep dark black with an average sized (1-2 finger) light brown creamy head that dissipated quickly leaving just a little residue around the edges of the glass, which produced some fair lacing. The aroma was of a roasted chocolate malt and a sweet moldy yeast with notes of milk chocolate, coffee, a bit of toffee and lactose sugar. The taste was malty sweet with notes of milk chocolate and toffee from the onset with the finish having a coffee and cream flavor to it. The flavor lasted an average amount of time after the swallow with a nice milky creaminess left at the end. Mouthfeel was just a bit under full in body with the texture being smooth and creamy and having a subtly soft carbonation. Overall a silky sweet creamy brew that sits extremely well on the taste buds. .

From bottle pours black with brown head. Aroma nice chocolate and roast malt. More chocolate, nice milk chocolate touch, in medium body that disappears fast. No bitternes

Pours jet black, strong notes of dark chocolate on the aroma. I was expecting lots of chocolate tastewise coming of the aroma, but it really did blow me away still. Best chocolate oriented stout i have had so far. Bottle from SB

355ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla in the aroma. Vanilla, creamy chocolate, honey and coffee all feature in the smooth and slightly sweet taste. Very enjoyable at first but gets a bit sickly after a while.

Appearance: Short light-tan head under a black bodied beer. Not much lacing and the head dies quickly.

Aroma: Faint burnt roasted smell with a rubbing alcohol scent. Not the best aroma...

Taste: It has a light roasted grain flavor that is a bit watered down.

Mouthfeel: It has a nice smooth mouthfeel. There’s a slick feeling on the palate.

Overall: I don’t get a whole lot of chocolate from this beer and it is a bit watered down in flavor, but it has enough roasted grain flavor and it is smooth enough to make it a nice drinking experience.

I'm torn with this as I know the chocolate flavor is extract. The overall beer is great. Excellent head retention, nice aromas, good body. The creamy mouthfeel goes great with the chocolate flavors. My beef is that it's not actually chocolate.
