Didnt do anything for me, smelled good with citrus notes, sour taste and abrupt finish.

Hazy amber, a little boozy. Bananas and bubblegum, very sweet and cloying.

Bottle from Nick’s Deli and Pub in Clemson. Mostly sugary aroma with a nice, golden honey color. The taste is great! Lots of honey and caramel flavors that mask the high alcohol content nicely. Sort of sticky in the mouth, but not too overpowering. You feel the alcohol in your chest instead of on your tongue, which is great.

Pours with little head. A wonderfully golden hue, which has just a touch of haze to it. A nice mellow attack with a slightly ester flavor, warms to a nice finish.

Cask at Terrapin. Poured cloudy orange, with tiny white head. No lace. Aroma is really sweet and fruity, oak not really present. Taste is really syrupy sweet with fruit and light spice. Oak is barely there, which isn’t a bad thing. The mouth is really sticky with no real carbonation. Based on other reviews, I feel like this cask may not have worked as well as the one at BSP last fall. Not offensive by any means, but not what I was hoping for. I hope to try again.

11% really? A surprising beer in many ways - the oak/chard arrives during ACT III. This comment has to be 75 characters.

Cask at the Brick Store last week. Pours a hazy golden with a decent fluffy white head that lingers as a cap for quite a while, leaving good lacing. The honey definitely makes itself known in the nose with some bananas and a hint of hops as well. Plenty of spices thrown in as well. The taste was much like the bottled version, but I could detect a hint of the oak that toned the sweetness from the honey down just a tad. That said, it was honey, bananas and spices from start to finish. Mouthfeel was seriously creamy. The alcohol is hardly noticeable and there is no way I would have guessed 11%. Crazy drinkable.

On cask at Brick Store Pub. The beer poured cloudy and tan/old gold in color. The head was thick and white and consisted of small bubbles and left slight amounts of lace on the glass (BSP served in a very nice goblet/flute). The aroma was sweet with notes of honey. The flavor is very sweet. There is a good bit of wheat flavor and some banana and spice yeast character. The finish is sweet with very light and clean bitterness. The mouthfeel is exceptionally creamy - due to being cask no doubt and due to the very full body of the beer. The carbonation was very low in this example (I want to try it from the bottle to see how it compares). Overall, an amazing dessert beer. I bit sweet for my palate, but I can certainly admit that this is an exquisite brew.
