3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 steve1966 (75) - Florida, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Pours like an ale no head no lacing. Murky color hazy brown. First sip pumpkin comes out big time. Supposed to be part marzen octoberfest like dont get that at all with this brew. That said its a fine pumpkin ale. Beats blue moon. Not quite as good as Sam adams.Still seems like it is missing something but its still pretty decent.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jbruner (1124) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Pours a brownish-orange on tap with with little to no head or lacing. Aroma and taste are light pumpkin and a bit of spice. Nothing exceptional and too light for my taste, much better pumpkin beers for the price.

Pours an amber orange with no head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices. Taste is malty with pumpkin and spices, nice balance. Not bad, actually it's pleasantly light and refreshing for the style

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel-orange color with a medium sized creamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet strong cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin. The flavor was dryish with strong cinnamon and nutmeg and a hint of caramel. Long dry cinnamon and nutmeg finish. Medium body. One dimensional but tasty.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 zgaier (695) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Pours an amber orange with an off white head and aroma of pumpkin and spices. Taste is sweet, of pumpkin, spices, malt, and caramel with a spicy, dry finish. Very drinkable, smooth pumpkin brew with some nice flavor.

2012 Vintage.
A: The body is a clear amber with a thin tan head, decent looking until the head disappears which is fast.
S: The aroma is pretty good with nice balance, there’s a nice pumpkin aroma with nutmeg and cloves being the strong point here, maybe some slight cinnamon and vanilla in the back.
T: The flavor is okay here, a bit dry from the spices, mostly nutmeg and ginger, not much else, but neither is really strong.
M: Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.
O: This is just an average pumpkin beer, the aroma is much better than the taste here.

Now this is an Oktoberfest beer I can get behind. The malts and spices complement each other wonderfully.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a hazy deep amber color, darker than most pumpkin ales. Small white head that quickly fades to a small ring of bubbles. Huge aroma of pumpkin pie. You can literally smell the sugar! Huge pumpkin pie taste too. Nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, vanilla, and spices. Very sweet. Finish is slightly dry with a toasted biscuit aftertaste that lingers for a minute. Medium body, rich and creamy texture, medium carbonation. Thanksgiving dinner dessert in a bottle! Very well done.
