COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pumpkin beers have been an American tradition since the pilgrims hit Plymouth Rock while Oktoberfest beers have been brewed in Germany since not long after Prince Ludwig got hitched in 1810. Now Terrapin is ďcarvingĒ out our own special brew by combining these two great styles into a unique PUMPKINFEST beer...This Side Project has all the complex maltiness of a great Oktoberfest lager with the delicate spiciness of grandmaís fresh baked pumpkin pie.

Formerly Terrapin Side Project Pumpkinfest.

An open bottle fills the room with fall scents and a fresh pumpkin pie in the oven. Orange-brown appearance that fills your mouth with the fall season greatness! One of the best tasting and well balanced pumpking beers I have tasted. Highly recommend!

Pours dark amber orange with a large beige head. Smells of caramel, pumpkin, and nutmeg. Taste is caramel, pumpkin, and pie spices. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Terrapin Pumpkinfest finishes with a mild spice kick.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours with a relatively low amount of carbonation. Strong aroma of cloves, cinnamon and brown sugar. Basically, it smells like a Thanksgiving table! Itís surprisingly clear and lighter in color than many pumpkin ales. Iím guessing thatís where the Oktoberfest portion comes in. It has a balanced sweet flavor thatís definitely more akin to an Oktoberfest, but thatís not a criticism. It has a more full body than Iíd expect from a beer thatís so light in appearance, and the flavors linger long enough to draw you back. Overall, this is an amazing example of a pumpkin ale with a brilliant taste. Itís rare to find a pumpkin ale that could be described as "sessionable", but this is one of them. Really outstanding beer.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2012 This is an excellent fall pumpkin beer. More of a Pumpkin than an Oktoberfest. Smells like cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and pumpkin. Tastes is the same as the nose..Delicious ! If you see this one..do not pass it up...Buy it !

Smells AWESOME. I want to eat this beer. Pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel. Pours orangey with a little head that quickly dissipated. Doesnít taste quite as good as it smells, but still tasty. Nice little bit of fizz to it. Really tasty beer.

Wow. my favorite fall beer so far. Wonderful sweet aroma with cinnamon and pumpkin. Nice, bold red-orange color. The taste is a perfect balance of sweet and bitter with a clean finish.

A very tasty beer. Has a great pumpkin aroma, with various notes of spices. Sits very well in the mouth. Has a very nice finish, smooth and a little sweet.

Aroma is strong and spicy, mainly cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin - very like a pumpkin pie - but with enough malt to assure you it is indeed beer. It pours a beautiful dark orange amber with a thick, light orange-tan head that quickly dissipates. Flavor is sharp and spicy, malty with a good pumpkin undertone and hints of caramel, nutmeg and cinnamon. Texture is quite rough and lively, leaving an interesting finish.
