Hazy golden with a thick white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops with some floral notes. Flavor is assertively bitter and oddly a little flat. Somewhat tinny, but not unpleasant. Oddly, though not surprisingly based on the idea behind this beer, I enjoyed this more in the can while grilling rather than inside poured in a glass. I think it loses too much carbonation and gets a little bitter.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2014 one of the more flavor friendly hop heavy session brews out there - aroma has big time apple skin, grass, dried citrus, honey, and pine sap - flavor backs it right up with creamy green apple, dank herb array, sweet tropical flavors, pine, bit of white grapefruit, and some light but toasty malts - ends almost pilsner like and peppery - excellently smooth palate and medium bitterness - one of my favorites - big dimension and very well rounded hop forward brew

On draft at Isaacs. Nice floral, caramel malts notes. Body was a tad thin for my taste, but the brew was still solid and refreshing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: Can from Total Wine - Manassas, 9/26/14
Aroma: The aroma is a grassy and floral hops, resiny notes, caramel, and some lemon
Appearance: Enjoyed many of these straight out of the can, but itís a nice looking can
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, clean and hoppy, enough balancing sweetness, bitter close
Palate: The body is light-medium, with an excellent drinkability, and a clean, dry finish
I thought this was a great straight out of the can session beer. To me this one is tastier than the Hi-5, which is kind of surprising. I can attest that it works excellently in backyard while playing some can jam or corn hole.

Whoa okay so lets break this down. This one caught me way off guard. Itís a session IPA so I figured it would be alright nothing crazy but not bad. Well this one is super good. Tons of candied fruit right after opening the can. Really sweet and really fresh. Taste is so smooth. Lots of candied apricot, and tropical fruit. A little different from a lot of the session IPAís Iíve had. Itís a little hoppier but still fits the bill as a session IPA. Overall this one killed it. Lots of flavor, perfect bitterness just overall great stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: lightly hazed, medium gold; head is one finger of creamy white, slowly shrinking to a thin covering, with persistent lacing. Aroma: floral and citrus hops up front, with honeysuckle, grapefruit, apricots, and orange zest, and lemongrass. Taste: grapefruit, mango, light pineapple and apricot, with a bit of floral honey and light cracker. Finish: smooth, lively palate, lingering lightly dry bitterness. Notes: A well-done session IPA. Far too many examples have a watery palate, but this one was just right.
