UPDATED: AUG 13, 2013 I love supporting Terrapin and their Hopsecutioner is a great brew but I was pretty disappointed with this offering. However, after getting several friends to try it and ALL of them saying they liked it, I gave it another try. It must have been a bad tasting day the first time as I bought a case this past weekend.

Fresh can from jbruner. Pours orange/gold with decent white creamy head. Aroma is a nice bold hop punch - piney, grassy, earth, orange/tangerine. Really sets up well in the aroma. The taste left me a little underwhelmed with that lead up. It’s smooth, crisp and a bit of a dry, slightly resinous finish. Not as much hop presence there as I wanted. Definitely an easy drinker.

Can. Packaged: 02/07/14. A murky amber pour with a thick and creamy beige head. The aroma features some lemons, orange peels, light grapefruits, watered down grains, and a touch of caramel. Relatively medium-bodied on the way down. Light caramel upfront in the taste followed by some grapefruits and bitter citrus rinds. Kinda spicy throughout. Drinkable. Plenty of flavor for such a low ABV.

Can. Aroma is peachy as hell, apricot, citrus. Light medium body. Maybe English yeast, maybe Amarillo And/or Simcoe. Regardless, tasty session for sure.

Numerous cans. Looks like the picture. Shocking, I know. Smell is fruity, plenty of hops, some maltiness as well. Taste sweet, slightly bitter, stronger than it would appear. Good easy drinking IPA.

Hazy dull yellow pour with almost no hint of head. Light citrusy hop aroma and big bitter hop bite on the tail. Honestly, didnt care for this one too much

Very good, almost great ipa. Perfect clear copper pour with white head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste follows, but does not live up to nose. Close, but not there.

Can. Hazy orange with a big fluffy white head. Nice aroma with pine, resin and citrus. Taste is citrus and light pine and earthy notes. Not quite as flavorful as the aroma would lead you to believe. Soft creamy mouthfeel. Everything is there except the taste.

The idea behind this beer is awesome. Aroma is citric hop. Flavor is lightly bitter and light malty. Very sessionable while still being flavorful enough to enjoy. Cool.

What a great can of beer! Nice hop aroma, with a good bitter finish. No problem putting down a 12 pack on the weekend.
