UPDATED: AUG 13, 2013 I love supporting Terrapin and their Hopsecutioner is a great brew but I was pretty disappointed with this offering. However, after getting several friends to try it and ALL of them saying they liked it, I gave it another try. It must have been a bad tasting day the first time as I bought a case this past weekend.

Pours golden orange with a creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and some bread. Full flavored with citrus, bread, and some pine. Mild hop bite. Nice beer.

Pours a clear golden color with a slight alcohol aroma. Flavor is a bit sour and hops. Not too shabby.

$2 pint can. Pours a clear dark gold with a fluffy white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is straight-up hops, some malt backbone. Taste follows suit; dry with a citrusy bitter finish. Not bad.

Hazy/cloudy light amber. Peachy-fruity aroma, very papaya, peachy, quite fruity. Clean but thin pale malts, fairly low bitterness.

Golden color, nice head. In a can at Graham’s in SC. Not overly hoppy; lacks a bit of flavor.

This IPA poured a very lightly cloudy, light amber colour with a quick living, bright white head. Scents include citrus(orange, lemon) hops, a bit of spruce and hay. First swig had a slightly thin mouthfeel with lots of hop flavours. Medium/heavy bitterness with light carbonation. Finish is quite bitter on the palate.

Crisp and full, hoppy and bitter. Citrus zest, some malt, and a bit of floralness, grass, and earthy notes. Light enough, but nearly a full IPA.

On tap kegs and k9s. Light amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and some big-bubble lacing. Taste is herbal hops and bitter finish.

Not a horrible session ipa. But not going to be my go to. Okay nose. Decent mouthfeel with a light tropical end note. But a bit thin. Impressive head and appearance. Not a dumper but okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Lightly hazed pale gold with a white head. First whiff smells like a hop bag, like literally it smells like a bag of pellets: grassy, resinous, "dank", etc. As it breathes and warms there’s some more action: pine needles, pet urine, diesel, onion, some fruity-tropical notes, that sort of thing. Yeah it smells like hops but it smells like the worst representation of hops imaginable. Medium-light bodied, off-dry, strongly bitter, body is a little filmy and rough at the same time, the whole effect is stark and unpleasant, and I can’t get past the Christmas tree / cat piss smell.
