3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2013 I love supporting Terrapin and their Hopsecutioner is a great brew but I was pretty disappointed with this offering. However, after getting several friends to try it and ALL of them saying they liked it, I gave it another try. It must have been a bad tasting day the first time as I bought a case this past weekend.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Fantastic session ale. I recommend "can" only as the kegs can often times have oxidized flavors.
Creamy head with a light golden body, hop flavors are light and not too bitter and balance out well with the malt. Very refreshing and the lower ABV makes it great for outdoor activities and events.
Excellent almost citrus and malt like aromas are faint but balanced. Light overall flavors.

Taste of citrus, caramel, grass, floral hops, tropical fruit and sour onions.
Medium/light body and medium/low carbonization.
An interesting session IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2014 one of the more flavor friendly hop heavy session brews out there - aroma has big time apple skin, grass, dried citrus, honeycomb, and pine sap - flavor backs it right up with creamy green apple, dank herb array, sweet tropical flavors, pine, bit of grapefruit, and some light but honey-like and toasty malts - ends almost pilsner like and peppery - excellently smooth palate and medium bitterness - one of my favorites - big dimension and very well rounded hop forward brew
**cant stress enough how critical it is to get this stuff fresh - so good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at Isaacs. Nice floral, caramel malts notes. Body was a tad thin for my taste, but the brew was still solid and refreshing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: Can from Total Wine - Manassas, 9/26/14
Aroma: The aroma is a grassy and floral hops, resiny notes, caramel, and some lemon
Appearance: Enjoyed many of these straight out of the can, but it’s a nice looking can
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, clean and hoppy, enough balancing sweetness, bitter close
Palate: The body is light-medium, with an excellent drinkability, and a clean, dry finish
I thought this was a great straight out of the can session beer. To me this one is tastier than the Hi-5, which is kind of surprising. I can attest that it works excellently in backyard while playing some can jam or corn hole.
