| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 30, 2008 Near clear orange pour with thin off-white head. The floral hop aroma is not overbearing at all. Big hop profile is semi-well-balanced with the malt. Decent APA, though I don’t care much for it. Darkover (1311), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Don’t know how I haven’t rated this. Orange/amber color. Thin, white head. Malty aroma with some citrus hops. Flavor is a good balance of earthy, piney hops with some sweet notes. Finish is slightly bitter. The beer that put Terrapin on the map back in 2002. Great go-to beer. tubehead (10), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Tap and bottle - this is a beautifully poured beer. It is dark copper color with a rich, earthy smell. The rye flavor is is an obvious differenciator vs. other pale ales. It is very smooth with minimal aftertaste, but plenty of hoppy taste. Buy the first for the flavor, the second because the first was so smooth, then the third because. well, why not? One of my favorites. Beershine (2686), Hue, Vietnam
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Bottle. Mainly clear with slight haze, orange-amber color and small head. Chewy, thick aroma is typically Terrapin. Slight oxidation present. Almost briny. Malty, saucy, earthy aromas. Highly carbonated but palate is not as chewy as it smells. Good balance. Is brisk with salty hops, preventing the heaviness of the malt body dominating. Remains sweet but cut by nice hops. Good finish. Is decent, and more quaffable than expected. Good fruitiness and juicy palate. austone (1036), Turku; Pori, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Bottle @ Ĝlbaren. Hazy golden, small pale head. Sweetish malty aroma, honey, fruity hops, very smooth. Quite simple honeyish flavor, hay, grassy hops, lightly fruity. Grainy and bitter finish. Easy and smooth PA, rye doesn’t show all that much.
