Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.

Poured a clear golden orange color creating a tight bone white head with good retention. Some spotty lacing as the snifter drained. Aroma profile was that of toasted malts, clover honey, citrus and some faint spicy rye grain. Mouthfeel was creamy and smooth with just a touch of carbonation. The malts dominate the flavor profile with a subdued sweetness; like toasted rye bread with honey drizzled on top. Some faint orangey citrus notes come through in the finsih. Overall quite light and crisp. Would be a tasty thirst quencher served a bit colder in the hot Florida summers.

Clear golden color with a frothy fluffy white head. Visible carbonation. Strong hop aroma similar to Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale. Undertones of rye malt that give it a creamy smooth malty body. Caramel breadiness is the highlight of the taste and a floral and potent hop finish.

I thought a rye pale ale would be special but i only tasted the rye every now and then. it started with strong caramel but as i got farther tasted more like rye and hops. the hops is pretty strong throughout. pretty average for a pale ale, but i liked all the hops.

Clear, light copper color. Malty, sweet, and with some hop in the aroma. Hops are more prominent in the flavor consisting of citrus and floral notes. The rye adds that little bit of bite but doesn’t do much besides that. Solid, but I wish the rye had a bigger role.

Not so bad. Reminded me of an IPA but w/o as much of a bite. Also gets some bonus points for being a "local" beer.
