Aroma is medium sweet, rye, grapefruit and bread. Flavor is grapefruit, pine, caramel, rye and bread. Medium dry rye finish. Aroma is flowery, with a touch of freshly mown hay or grass. Taste is dry and a bit bitter but with a true rye flavor. Head is fairly large. Aroma is sweet accented by soft floral notes. Taste is relatively dry, not overly hopped. Sweet floral hop aroma. Rye and hops combine in the taste to make a bitter but pleasant experience, followed by a sweet finish. This one I could session all day! Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 15, 2008 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy combined with lighter notes of grass and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of rye malt and lots of grassy hoppy notes as well as light notes of grapefruit.
