Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.
Now available in bottles.

Another nice beer from Terrapin- pours a dark copper colour with a slightly orange hue. Head is fairly large. Aroma is sweet accented by soft floral notes. Taste is relatively dry, not overly hopped. Finishes pretty clean.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom Savannah on 5/17/08. Pours a clear amber color with thin white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, fresh grass. Tastes of rye, citrus (hints of grapefruit and ripe orange mainly), with some spice and notes of hay or grass. Slightly bitter and watery finish. Overall, drinkable IPA.

Draught: Poured a murky orange with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus and hops. Taste was similar with hops, but very smooth balance finish.

Bottle from Whole Foods Raleigh. Pours an amber color with a small head. Sweet floral hop aroma. Rye and hops combine in the taste to make a bitter but pleasant experience, followed by a sweet finish. This one I could session all day!

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy combined with lighter notes of grass and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of rye malt and lots of grassy hoppy notes as well as light notes of grapefruit.

Pours brown with a thin, fine, white head. Hoppy aroma. Mouth feel is moderate. Very floral flavor with a strong citrus quality in it. All around good pale ale.
