Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.

Bottle. Pours nice redish orange with 2 finger white head. Nose is citrus hops with a sweet tinge that plays nice with the hops. Bready malt taste with light grapefruit, citrus and caramel. Mouthfeel is nice with a good carbonation. Tasty brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours clear light amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is medium sweet light citrus and rye bread. The flavor is mildly sweet, light grapefruit citrus, rye, caramel malt, and a touch of pine. Medium bodied, finishes dry.

Medium amber color that pour with fairly weak head. Aroma is citrus with good piney hops. Flavor is interesting. It contains hints of nut and citrus especially grapefruit with strong bitterness that is slightly overpowering. The malt is well balanced so that it does not get in the way as with bigger beers and the hops do not overpower as can be the case with some high hop content beers. Finishes pretty clean but has a bit of stickyness and a drying quality on the tongue. Overall, not too bad a beer that I would drink again.

Draft at Dain’s. I dig this beer and find it quite easy to drink. Nothing crazy on the palate--not a hop wallop, not too much rye... just great balance and a fantastic low-alcohol beer. A go-to beer for me if I want to drink a few beers but don’t want a buzz.

Draft...Poured a delicious looking dark orange/ w a thick white head. Great lacing all the was to the last drop...Nose was of florals, pine, citrus, grass, grains, malts. Tastes were very similar, but the malts did shine through on the front w/ a medium hopped finish that fades off the palate. Very solid APA. Went great with the slad and pizza...

12oz bottle courtesy of brentfeesh. Aroma was floral and of potting soil to plant flowers. Dark golden body with off white head. Burnt malt flavor mixed with pepper and mild bitterness. Not much of an aftertaste at all. Smooth enjoyable brew after work. Thanks Brent.
