durhambeer (1187), Durham, USA Mar 22, 2008 Draft at Dain’s. I dig this beer and find it quite easy to drink. Nothing crazy on the palate--not a hop wallop, not too much rye... just great balance and a fantastic low-alcohol beer. A go-to beer for me if I want to drink a few beers but don’t want a buzz. thill25 (216), Orlando, Florida, USA Mar 20, 2008 Draft...Poured a delicious looking dark orange/ w a thick white head. Great lacing all the was to the last drop...Nose was of florals, pine, citrus, grass, grains, malts. Tastes were very similar, but the malts did shine through on the front w/ a medium hopped finish that fades off the palate. Very solid APA. Went great with the slad and pizza... Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Mar 17, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of brentfeesh. Aroma was floral and of potting soil to plant flowers. Dark golden body with off white head. Burnt malt flavor mixed with pepper and mild bitterness. Not much of an aftertaste at all. Smooth enjoyable brew after work. Thanks Brent. lamas (709), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA Mar 14, 2008 Bottle. Best if enjoyed before: 07/12/08. Pours a deep copper with a smallish light-tan head. A floral aroma with a bit of citrus fruits present. Thin to medium-bodied with a fairly soft mouthfeel. Grainy malts dominate the initial taste. Ends with some subtle spiciness and bitter, citrusy hops that don’t linger around too long. Solid session brew. miketd (679), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Mar 8, 2008 Thanks to TURDFEGUSON for the bottle. Pour is a golden orange with a big(initially) white head. Aroma of grain, cereal and grass. Flavor is all grainy malt. Medium bodied. Pastor (509), Maine, USA Mar 1, 2008 Another opportunity brought to me by ncvbc.
Bottle poured a good finger’s worth of white bubbly head on top of a clear gold body in my pint glass. The head dissolves away to a nice thick lace
Aromas of rye and grasses along with some bread and hops fill your nose
Nice malt sweetness comes through first followed by some grasses (rye) and a good hop finish. Great balance in flavors
Clean and soft mouthfeel with just enough carbonation
A session beer for sure very drinkable and easy to kick back a few
jjuf1853 (467), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Mar 1, 2008 Bottle pours an amber/copper color with a small head. A lot of bread (especially rye) in the aroma more so than the hops, but still nice. Good flavor that includes citrus hops, and a lot of malt with a decent bitter finish. vadavid (131), Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA Mar 1, 2008 Pours bright orange with a thick white head, drop to leave lots of lacing. Citrus hop aroma, bready notes. The taste is not as citrusy as aroma would indicate. Grainy malt backbone. Citrus hop kick at the start, finishes more towards the bitter. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. My first brew from Terrapin, won’t be my last.
