| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Jan 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden orange with a small white head. Noticable carbonation. Smells very strong of rye malt with a background of hops. Taste initially starts with a flood of floral hops which then turns to all rye, and rather dry in the mouth. A nice pale ale especially considering it uses a very underused grain in brewing. ogglethorp (887), Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a decent sized white head. Aroma is grapefruit, light orange, caramel. Flavor is caramel, floral hops, orange, grapefruit. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes bitter. So-so. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 14, 2008 This is a very pleasant beer which put me in mind of DFH 60 Minute--a lot of the same hop character and similar malt-to-hops balance. Though it was a bit lighter than that. Very nice, and rather than "extreme" (as I see in the Commercial Description), I would tag it "subtle" and charming. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Clear orange red in color. Smell is doughy and hoppy. There is a metallic bitterness that is not the greatest. Highly carbonated - not through the roof or anything - but still more carbonated than I wanted. Weak for a pale in my opinion. Not very memorable. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 13, 2008 12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. Best before May 31, 2008. Poured out a dark amber color, with a sticky tan head. Aromas are of piney hops, sour rye malt, sweet malts. Flavors are about the same, with piney burps in the end. Decent pale ale overall. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours a clear amber gold color with a white head that lasts a good while. Smell is Nicely hopped with a zesty rye zing and light maltiness as well. Taste is a very balanced hoppiness up front with a maltier finish with a nice amount of flavor. Crisp, lightly bitter bite to it, with the taste of rye present. This is a fantastic, easy drinking and flavorful Pale. Very nice.
