Jan 11, 2008 From the tap it poured a light amber color with a thin white head. The aroma was of citrus fruit, floral notes, some rye, and some crisp hops. The flavor is much the same with the citrus fruits and hops in the forefront with some rye malt to balance it out. The rye gave it a nice flavor and left the palate feeling clean and crisp. The finish had some mild bitterness with a touch of sweetness in there. Pretty solid session brew with a nice flavor to it.

Jan 10, 2008 This is a semi cloudy tanish body topped off with just a tiny bit of head. Has a bit of a rye scent but is also topped off with some a bit of citrusy hops- mostly lemon. it has a pretty full, sweet body with a bit of honey and a lot roasted rye malt. The citrus doesn’t shine through so much on the palate as the bouquet. $1.69 12 oz bottle

Jan 10, 2008 Clear golden orange. Slightly resiny citrus aroma. Taste is same with a bit of grain,,, and a cidery finish. Almost pumpernickely, it fades with breadiness.

Jan 8, 2008 When I drink bottled beer in Georgia this is my #1 choice. Cant explain what the rye has to do with it but I know I like it. Good hoppy session ale, I just wish it was lower in alcohol.

Jan 7, 2008 Pours a nice amber color with a small head that leaves a little lacing. Hoppy flavor and aroma with pine, grapefruit, citrus blended well with the rye malt. Clean mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good session brew.

Jan 3, 2008 Solid APA. Sweet and citrus, grapefruit nose. Nice malt backbone, body with floral, tangy, hops leaving a wonderful perfume in the mouth. Real fresh hop presence. Finishes same.

Dec 29, 2007 Nice combo of spicy rye and juicy hops. Floral aroma with a citrus taste. Refreshing and crisp with a hop kick at the finish. Nice session ale.
