elgiacomo (64), Ringgold, Georgia, USA Jan 7, 2008 Pours a nice amber color with a small head that leaves a little lacing. Hoppy flavor and aroma with pine, grapefruit, citrus blended well with the rye malt. Clean mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good session brew. TheRimmer (483), Florida, USA Jan 3, 2008 Solid APA. Sweet and citrus, grapefruit nose. Nice malt backbone, body with floral, tangy, hops leaving a wonderful perfume in the mouth. Real fresh hop presence. Finishes same. Rockinout (945), Kent, Ohio, USA Dec 29, 2007 Nice combo of spicy rye and juicy hops. Floral aroma with a citrus taste. Refreshing and crisp with a hop kick at the finish. Nice session ale. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Dec 29, 2007 Bottled. Clear golden colour with a patchy white head. Very clean, citrus hop aroma. Much stronger flavour of piney, sweet, grapefruity hops and very light bitterness. Clean finish. Nice mild APA. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 27, 2007 Aroma is strongly of hops... some pine, resin, and grapefruit for sure. the hops really dominate the aroma. poured an almost golden color with ample carbonatoin and two inches of head that were there to stay. flavor was also dominated by hops, resin pine and grapfruit again, slight rustic earthy flavor. palate was light. Good beer for a hot day... too bad I had it in the middle of winter. doubleo (1096), San Diego, California, USA Dec 26, 2007 Pours a beautiful clear honey color with a very, very thin white head of moderate bubbles. Not much of a nose to it. A faint smell of citrus and malt. Tastes great. You can really taste the rye and other grains in this brew. This is my favorite rye beer yet. Pretty standard mouthfeel, thin, well carbonated. This beer is great, very drinkable. Decent alcohol. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Dec 22, 2007 Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007 Beautiful gold color. Light but nice hoppy aroma, fruity (Cascade). Quite thin mouthfeel, with some dry toffee flavor, but a very good hopping, resiny, dry. Good thirstquencher. Tilley4 (218), Huron, Tennessee, USA Dec 21, 2007 I found this to be one hell of a session beer. Very nice and refreshing.
Hazy orange with a nice head.
Smells hoppy with some grapefruit and a touch of the rye malt coming out.
Mmmmm... very nice balance of hops and malt. Still nice and hoppy but the malt definitely has a presence as well.
This brewery is really impressing me with its offerings so far.
One of my new favorite sessions here. I seem to have liked this more than most but I thought it was really good.
