Left a little bit of an aftertaste. Terrapin normally isnt my favorite, but Id say this was the best one I’ve had yet. AllAboutStout (605), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Pours a amber color with a slight head. Slight lacing left on the side of the glass.
There’s a little hint of hops in the nose.
The taste is pretty average. Some hops can be found, blended in with a pretty good ale.
This is a good everyday beer. It’s highly sessionable and goes down quite easy. Not something to write home about, but it would be nice to see a sixer in the fridge. brianprentiss (473), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Very strong offering from Terrapin - probably the best brewer in the South (Sweetwater is close.) This PA is very balaced and one of the best standard PA’s you will find - over 90th percentile for PA’s. mcbackus (739), Merritt Island, Florida, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 9, 2007 12 oz bottle-from Secret Santa. Pours a clear copper color w/no head. Floral hopped aroma. Crisp, clean, dry hopped flavor w/a touch of citrus & spice hits you when you take your first drink. Followed up by a nice rye malt/roasted barley flavor which balances out the beer well. Brings the aggressive hop flavor down & makes the beer enjoyable. Long dry finish-very enjoyable. Ridedom33 (37), Valdosta, Georgia, USA

Very strong bread taste with hint of lemon. crispness to it in the mouth. No real lingering after taste. TheEpeeist (1442), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 5, 2007 12 oz bottle. Clear rusty orange with a nice white cap. Rye dough and light lemon zest. Crisp, hop-rye bite hits the spot. Tingle hangs on. Tang gets peppery-orange leaving lemon sugar cookies; returning to rye bread. Maybe a bit cold but body and taste still shine. brewblackhole (1370), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Citrus hop in a bed of juicey grain malt, a really huge aroma for a pale ale, orange amber color, small head, initial taste is orange citrus hop ,malt backing is thinner then aroma would lead you to believe, finished with a rye tang and citrus bitterness. Pleasantly drinkable, would need fuller body to be rated close to Alpha King Thanks emacgee
