Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.
Now available in bottles.

Although the rye aromas and flavors are really lacking in this, it is still a very nice APA. Very nice balance between mild citrus hops and grassy, musty flavors and the small malt backbone. A nice quaffable APA that I would def have again. Terrapin continues to impress!

Bottle from unclemattie!; Man I could smell the hops as i popped the cap! Nose is nice grassy citrusy smell hops; clear light amber with a small white head; flavor in the medium body is of citrus hops with some light, balancing malt notes leading into a small hop finish, not real bitter, but clean!

(Brewed and bottled by Wild Goose Brewery Frederick, Maryland) Crisp, clean, and bitter APA. Medium in body with a nice tropical fruit nose. The finish is long dry and bitter with prickly hops. I really didn’t get any contribution from the rye.

A hazy orange. Hoppy flavoring is very smooth and satisfying. Reminds me of Rogue Brutal Bitter.

Bottle. Thanks to unclemattie for this. Yellow/amber cloudy with a good white froth. A ton of carbonation. Aroma of grapefruit. I think it may be THE PERFECT summertime beer. Tastes like lemon, hops. Extremely drinkable. Leaves very little aftertaste for a big hopped beer. I like it.

On tap at the Broadway Brewhouse and Mojo Grill (Downtown) in Nashville. Poured amber. Hoppy, floral, citrusy aroma. Clean, crisp flavor, with lots of citrus notes and a fine hoppy finish.

Botterd. Copper-amber color. Sweetish and flowery aroma with cascade hops, toffee and some rye. Sweetish flavor with citrusy cascade hops, pineapple, solid bitterness, toffee and rye. A bit too sweet.
