Brown, hazy color, not much head. Hoppy, bready malty nose. Light, sweetish, rye malty. American hops are evident here. Much more APA than "real" rye ale. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 2, 2006 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Dark golden. Clean floral and citrousy aroma with undertones of honey. Clean and slightly perfumy flavour of flowers, honey, oranges and bread. medium bitter finish of grass. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Oct 1, 2006 (Stockholm Beer Festival 2006) Orange with a small head. Hoppy flavor, grassy and with quite a bitter finish. omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 30, 2006 [Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear deep golden. Aroma of rye bread and lychee. Medium sweet with rounded chewy mouthfeel and medium body. Lots of crystal malt. Plenty of hop flavour, but a lot of bitterness. Boutip (2335), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Sep 29, 2006 Bottle courtesy of Mr Kimchee: Poured an hazy dirty yellow color ale with a medium bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of citrus hops and big malt is easily identifiable. Taste is well balance mix between big malt with some noticeable rye presence as well as a bitter finish with cirtusy hops. Body is above average and carbonation is a bit lower then expected. Another fine beer from this great brewery. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA Sep 26, 2006 Yumy! Dark amber colour with an inviting but semi faint aroma of citrus. The flavour is quite nice, a good pale ale flavour with some hoppiness and a nice finish that is quite distinctly the rye, with a bit of spice that does’t linger and as advertised, cleans up the palate.
