Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.
Now available in bottles.

Bottle at El Rey. Pours amber with thin off white head. Minimal hop aroma. Flavor has slight hop notes with good malt balance. Easy drinking. Decent.

12 oz bottle courtesy of a GAManiac trade. Thanks, Grant! Pours a golden amber hybrid, light haze, big whitish head, bubbly, light lacing, as it dissipates to a decent layer. Aromas are faint with some floral and citrusy gumball like hoppiness, faint pale and rye malts. Straightforward, light. Initial is light bodied, easily quaffable, very APA styled as the beer takes on Pale and Rye malts that give it a little more dimension in the malt category. Hops are citrusy, light and lively, with a touch of gumball sweetness. Light and carefree brew that has some decent flavor. A little lacking in aroma, but a nice summer sessioner for sure. Could use a little more pronounced hop presence. Finishes smooth, lightly sweet, crisp, and faint hop residual.

light to medium body. love the clear amber color. carbonation is a little low, but i like that. hop aroma is a little less then i like, and a little spiciness on tip of tounge after initial swallow. finishes well and very refreshing. can drink all night. draft or bottle

Bottle thanks to emacgee. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is rich citrus hops, lots of grains and honey come in as well. The flavor was very nice; initially a smooth and full citrus hop flavor, the Rye provides a perfect balance to the hops, sweet and earthy. I really like rye in beer. Very nice and somehow both dry and very wet on your palate.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a moderate white top, very nice lacing. Moderately bitter with little sweetness to offset. Nice aftertaste. Richer than I expected.

Weak aroma, almost non existant. Very rich orange color with almost no head at all. Light hopped flavor with a slightly fishy aftertaste. When I say fishy, I don’t mean that it is bad, it just has a very slight fishy taste to it, but is almost fitting with the beer. Overall, a decent brew, somewhat refreshing and smooth.

Draft at capones. Pours a hazy golden copper body with an off white head. Floral hoppy citrus with a nice rye balance, very session-able and a nice way to start lunch.
