Commercial Description:
We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.
Now available in bottles.

Bottled from Bierkoning. Clear orange-golden coloured, lasting head. Very hoppy nose, some grapefruit. Bitter flavour, hops, nicely balanced. Nice American Pale Ale.

12oz bottle-A head that dissipated rathe slow on a yellow orange body with an aroma of citrus and hops. A taste of citrusy hops and rye. Not a bad APA.

Pours a dark golden with orangish hues. Aroma of grapefruit, mango, citrus, and resinous hops. Taste is grassy, slightly bready/grainy, with spicy and sweet citric hops. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. This is improved recently, I raised my rating from 3.4 to 4.0. Well balanced with plenty of hops.

[bottle] Beautiful floral and citrus bouquet--notes of apricot and strawberry. Also some toffee. Foggy gold covered by wisps of white. Flavor = assertive bitterness in front of dry caramel and bitter grapefruit. Peach and pear accents. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, lingering bitterness, though dry and crisp in the finish.

Bottle, mystery swap 2.0 from Turdferguson. Hops, some sweetness on the aroma, orange pour, slight head, some hops to start, but dominated by the malt, very dry finish, slight fruitiness(citrus) would make a great session beer for me, decent but mild.

First. I must apologize to this beer- I drank you in one of the worst beer bars I have ever experienced: Taco Mac. Perhaps if I had had you in a more respectable establishment, you would have tasted better. But I ad serious questions regarding the cleanliness of the glass and the waiter pissed me off. I will try you again soon, I promise.

bottle courtesy of ucusty...pours a copper color with lively carbonation and a light body/mouth feel. earthy, piney aroma with sweet malts and unidentified citrus. flavor is similar but with the addition of a seedy rye bitterness on the finish...little on the sweet side but highly drinkable in large amounts...
