| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2009 Bottle from Santa. Thanks Santa!! Orange pour with white head. Aroma of bright, piney hops, some fruit, and spicy rye . Flavor is better than the aroma: fruity, with a nice hop note, and dry, spicy rye finish. Finishes clean. I’ve got to get down to Georgia and visit this place, because I’m impressed by so many of their beers. Really, this is one of the best session brews I’ve ever had. curly (770), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Lots of sweet biscuit malt with a touch of grassy orange citrus hop and faint bubblegum notes. Pale rye and crystal malt up front that has a hay taste, faint citrusy hop that is on the sweeter side with bits of caramel. fromred2green (172), , Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow-orange with a small white head. Aroma of grain and hops - yes you can smell a distinct rye aroma. It smells like rye bread mixed with hops, which makes this beer interesting before even taking a sip. Flavor is mostly hops. Rye is barely distinguishable from the hops in the flavor but can be noted as a subtle finish. Overall very good.
