Light floral hop aroma. Golden in color with white head. Lighter than expected, again floral hop character, a slight bite but mostly a typical pale.

Why not just do what we know? Exactly. BW's rarely disappoints even if they do have a limited selection. Huge plus, though, all draft beers come in 24 oz glass. For a rye pale ale, this is pretty good.

Pine aroma. Flavors of orange, rye, caramel and wheat. The wheat detracts for me, but offers a nice crispness. Well carbonate.

Bottle. The look is clearish, whitish head, and goldenish in color. Very ish. The smell is hops, fruits, floral, lemon, orange, and nice. The taste is bitterness, fruits, malts, hops, ok, caramel, but somewhat dry.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2014 Appearance: very clear gold with almost some hues of amber, pours with a very large beige head that settles down to a nice medium head
Aroma: grass, pine, hops, some malty sweetness, heavy creamy
Taste: very strong citrus, floral, bitterness, some spice to it, slight bitter aftertaste
Palate: light mouthfeel, leaves mouth dry, faint bitter aftertaste, very easy drinking
Overall: awesome beer, I really like the hops and the oh so subtle malt background, if I had to make it better if say even more hops with the same amount of malt

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at LV Bar and Grill, Midland GA. Pours a hazy golden color, solid head retention. Aroma is hoppy, grassy notes and hints of spice / rye. Taste is spice and rye forward, transitioning to slight hoppy bitterness and finishing dry. Palate is well carbonated, smooth. I really enjoyed this.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light copper with a one finger, egg shell head that thins to a film. Aroma is pleasant. Notes of bread, caramel, citrus, and mild, spicy rye. Taste is balanced but slightly bitter. Starts out with a mild citrus and bready caramel then moves to a spicy rye finish. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty clean and refreshing in the mouth. Overall pretty nice. I?m not sure what I think of the rye but it is well crafted and refreshing. Might get again if I was in the mood. Cheers!
