3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz. bottle - . Thanks Rich! Pitch black with no head. Bittersweet chocolate aroma, with some roasted notes and molasses. The flavor is very sweet, with some roasted bitterness in the finish. Medium body, sticky, and a little silky. Overall, this is a flavorful, mellow, and relatively easy-drinking Imperial Stout. It’s apparent that the years of aging have been good for it.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
22oz bottle courtesy of bulbman, thanks! I split this with a couple friends and they seemed to enjoy it more than I did. Not much point describing the appearance, it’s black and has a minimal head.it smelled like alcohol at first but as it warmed up it was a nice rich, toasty smell. The taste really had a charred meat flavor to it that was just too much for me. I won’t be seeking this out again.
