Bomber bottle from Dchmela, ( thanks Dave ). Nice black pour with a fine tan head. Roasted barly goodness with a nice balance of hops with a little wheat. Every sip was a pleasure.

These beers usually smell better than they taste, in my opinion, and this one was no exception. Rich chocolatey and citrusy nose comes with a palate that is just slightly too bitter and a flavor profile that clashes more than I’d like. Still, pretty darn good and another impressive side project.

Acquired in a trade. Enjoyed in a Hill Farmstead Glass.

A - Gorgeous hazy wheat appearance with a golden light appearance. No head whatsoever.

S - Gigantic Bavarian wheat scent. Fresh wheat and light apricot scent. Very mellow hop scent. Loads of pineapple and lemon zest. Very nice and harmonious. Great balance really.

T - Yeah. Hard to tell a big difference between the hops and the wheat. It’s basically 50/50 with a big dry german yeast. Pretty well balanced but a very dry wheat taste on the finish.

M - 100% carbonation. Very borderline medium / light body. Big wheat and lemony finish.

O - Nice beer. It’s not a great wheat IPA but it’s decent.. 81/100.

Brown black pour with tan head and lace. Resiny hops, light chocolaty roasted malt. Roasted malt, resiny hops, a hinto sweet on the start with a dry finish. Medium body with smooth carbonation. A hinto watery finish. Pretty good beer.

Bomber courtesy of Doodler (thanks Scott) pourd a clear dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aromaof roastiness, grapefruit, earthiness, light pine and a hint of charcoal. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roastiness, charcoal, grapefruit, earthiness and a hint of pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter roasty finish.

Very deep brown, a little ruby light shines through. Nose is roast, caramel & piney hop. Flavor is caramel, nice roast, big pine character with some tropical hop notes. Finish is bittersweet chocolate & pine with lingering caramel. I recognize that this bottle isn’t the freshest in the world but I prefer it to fresh samples of Capt’n Krunkles that I had.

Bottle. Pours a black color wit a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel coffee and hoppy aroma. Roasted malty hoppy chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter chocolate finish.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is citrusy hoppy and dark roasted malty. Solid bitter, grapefruity and dark roasted malty flavoured. Bone dry and toasted dark malty finish.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops, pine needles and liquorice with notes of cookies. Fruity flavour of caramel, hops and pine needles with notes of liquorice. Hoppy finish.

trade with forgetfu clear dark brown, smooth light brown head. nice hoppy and roasted stuffy aroma. flavor is malty, dark caramelly, hoppy, roasted stuff, hop flavor is very good, dry, and bitter.
