COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Terrapin ""Dos Cocoas"" gets its name from the deep history of chocolate and the two forms of Ecuadorian cocoa we use in this exceptional beer. Brewed with 100% cocoa powder, and aged on a bed of pure cocoa nibs, the chocolate flavor in this beer is so mouth watering it will even make Wonka jealous.

Roast malt and chocolate in the nose. Black with a beige froth. Roast and dark chocolate bitterness blended with a good hop profile and just enough sweetness to balance. Medium bodied with a dry roasty finish.

Bottled from backlog notes. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor have some roasted malt, bigger chocolate, some dark fruit, cocoa powder, a touch thin but I guess this is a porter, so maybe not that bad, I always find the Side Project stuff interesting.

Bottle. Moderate to heavy dark bread for the malt, moderate herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with a dose of cocoa powder in the background. Head is average size, frothy, light brown with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color si dark brown. Flavor starts lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to mdeium, watery with a lively carbonation. Lots of dark chocolate in this tasty Porter.

Nice chocolate flavor. A little thin. Let it warm up a little for the best taste.

Bottle at Jester King Zwanze Day. Dark brown pour with a brown head. The aroma is very nutty with some chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of hazelnut and chocolate notes, as well as some roasted malt and cream. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

"Tootsie Rolls and lightly bitter dark chocolate in the nose and flavor. Smooth palate but a little thin. The porter part is just ok, the chocolate great. If this were an imperial stout or more robust porter, this would be epic."

Pour was dark brown to black with a huge and highly carbonated chocolate colored head. Aroma of cocoa and milk. Flavor followed with some ash and Hershey syrup type notes. Mouthfeel was a ittle light with high carbonation. Thanks to goodgrief for the shot at this one.

Dark fizzy pour. Dark color. Itís fizzy and over carbonated. Itís really over carbonated. I could describe other things, but nothing else really matters.

bomber from springslicker. I might have had too high of expectations based on wnb.. ok porter in the end. good aroma of cocoa, hot chocolate, - not much coffee to me. thin on palate. taste not as good as aroma - easy drinker but just lack of any quality that stands out
