4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Draught. Pours a very dark brown color with very little head on it. Nose is SUPER chocolatey, and a beacon to all who love chocolate. You can get a little bit of roasting in the nose, but it serves as a subtle complement to the chocolate. Taste is also very chocolatey and comes off slightly sweet, but with just a hint at some roasty bitterness. Mouthfeel is super creamy and very reminiscent of chocolate milk. Love it!

Bomber bottle from neighbor Bob - thanks! Perfect on all counts. Plenty of cocoa bitterness and richness. Another great project beer from Terrapin, the grandest turtle out there.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark chocolate in appearance with a smell of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Cocoa taste is perfectly well balanced with a hint of spice (possibly from peppers or various spices that may have been used). Just another great beer from Terrapin. HIghly recommend if this is your style of beer.....look forward to more "side project" beers from this brewery.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Comes out of the tap a deep sable, opaque and almost black, with a nice tan head. Aroma is not strong but appetizing, like a fine mocha with some malty hints. Flavor is strong, like quality roast coffee with a chocolaty undertone and nutty and caramel hints, as well as a touch of sweetness. Texture is very smooth and not at all watery.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
For low gravity it is amazing perfect chocolate sweet aroma. Light on mouthfeel due to abv. Chocolate clouded by carbonation. Still impressive. Lasting head.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Courtesy of Skyview. Black color with a large head. Light chocolate malt aroma. Nothing light about the chocolate flavor though. Very strong along with a sweet and roasted malt base. Some English earthy hops towards the finish. Excellent brew.

Black pour with small tan head that quickly dissipated. This smells and tastes exactly like a dark chocolate bar of expensive vintage. Great stuff, makes you want to put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours pitch black with a small khaki colored head that retains fairly well. Smells of cocoa overpower everything else, taste a lot of cocoa, so good. There are also malty notes and the chocolate flavor is a bit sweet in a good way. Clean finish, kinda expected the beer to be a bit thicker.
