3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter.
A: Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber color. A nice, durable white head leaves beautiful lacing behind.
S: Fruity, with citrus, peach and apricot notes. There is also an obvious Belgian yeast component and a moderate, most peppery, spiciness.
T: Quite spicy at first, with contributions from the yeast and hops, but this fades nicely into a fruity-yeasty-bready mix. Sweet, tart and bitter in roughly equal measure.
Feel: Medium-high carbonation is, perhaps, a tad too high. Medium body; dry finish.
O: A successful, interesting and well-balanced combination of styles. Farmhouse ale and IPA vie for prominence but neither wins out.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a very big sudsy head that falls to a thin cap.
Aroma: Citrus , flowers, clove, vanilla.
Taste: Belgian yeast forward, spicy hops, a touch of tangy fruit. Finishes with modest bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, prickly lively carbonation.
Overall: A nice spicy, flavorful Belgian ale. I went into this not expecting anything that resembles what I know as an IPA, and that helped me enjoy the beer for what it was.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Vol 20! Foil wrapped, 22oz bottle. Aroma of hops, deep heavenly scent of Christmas tree. Orange color, white foam. As it warms there is a smell of orange zest, bready Wit yeast, & floral coriander in the nose. Flavor is dry, Wit like characters. Bread, straw, dried citrus peel, wheat. Dry finish, floral & citrus. Very well balanced. (3964)

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger foamy and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon zest, pear, apple, tangerine, pineapple, orange peel, coriander, clove, peppercorn, wheat, straw, herbal, grass, light oak, light bubblegum, and yeast funk/earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop, spice, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, orange peel, pear, apple, wheat, coriander, clove, peppercorn, straw, herbal, grass, light oak, light bubblegum, and yeast funk/earthiness. Light wheat tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, peppercorn, straw, herbal, grass, light oak, light bubblegum, and yeast funk/earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of hop, spice, and yeast ester flavors; with a crisp malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice white IPA. All around good balance and complexity of hop, spice, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy medium yellow with a generous fluffy white head.
Belgian yeast aroma with some lemony tartness.
The flavor is tart and lemony like a witbier, slightly sour and tart with some Belgian funk like a farmhouse ale and there may be some hop thing going on after all of that but it’s lost below the tartness.Interesting beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 1/16/13
Aroma: The nose is spice and yeast, tart notes, fruit, and a bit of hop as well
Appearance: Pours a really nice clear orange color with a clean, frothy white head and heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor leans toward the Belgiany side, yeasty, some spice, a bit tart, and lightly bitter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, and a tart/light dry finish
Really nice looking beer, and pretty tasty too.
I felt that Belgiany and farmhouse flavors were more dominant in this one than the IPA flavors were, but I liked it.
Nice addition with the spice and oak aging as well.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bomber from springslicker in trade. not an ipa bottle states white farmhouse ipa so a kinda saison ipa?? that is the best way to describe this - some fruit and yeast in aroma. taste is a comb of saison and ipa - different brew; drinkable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Camomile, tansy, oak and pink grapefruit notes all explode from this brew’s dry and effervescent mouthfeel, drawing a perfumy profile onto delicately honeyed cereals.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A mountain of foam is quickly reduced to a veil on top of the translucent gold.
-The nose and flavour profile are both evocative.
-The yeast character, hops and spicing are all very harmonious.
-The high level of intensity of all flavours decreases drinkability (despite the efforts of the dryness and forceful carbonation).
-This would be wonderful with baklavas.
