22 oz. bottle - shared by ?? at the HOTD dock sale; cloudy yellow and flat; a little sharp at first with flavors of spice, lemons, banana, cinnamon; drinks strong with a spicy kick; glad i got to try, but not quite my thing

Bottle: A pale golden and orange pour with a light haze and no head. Smells sweet and floral. An odd sweetness; must be the honey. Tastes fruity and floral with more of that honey sweetness. Rather dry and even a twinge soapy. Not really that good. Thanks to colemgm8 for sending this intriguing brew; I’m glad to have tried it.

Bottle. Pours orange with thin white head. Aroma is filled with honey scent. Good use of the Savannah Honey, light malts, some fruit with banana/apple. Taste was strong on the honey sweetness side and can come across as mead inspired. Alcohol comes alive and helps the beer keep a warming mouthfeel. This is indeed a monster beer that might be more enjoyable in 12oz. Can’t wait to get this beer in the monster tour and see if Terrapin has changed anything to its recipe.

Bottle from KP, thanks!! Thickish cloudy ambered sunset. German hef aroma, dense and good banana character too. Little phenol. Reminds me of a syrupy Ayinger Brau-Weisse........and new tires.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small whitish head. The aroma is sweet honey, wheat grass, citrus, and spice. The flavor is wheat grassy, honey, spicy, and fruity. Yeast is also present as is alcohol. Medium-full bodied and much smoother than I thought this would be. The alcohol is present at times, but not to the tune of 11%.

22oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with a bit of an orange tint, capped with a thin white head. Big honey aroma, with notes of wheat, citrus, clove, and banana. Flavor begins with wheat and spice, with honey and hefty alcohol coming in towards the finish. Fairly full bodied and a bit syrupy. I expected a lot based on the aroma, but this wound up being a boozy mess.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours an orange color with no head. The nose is sweet with honey, rice, and subtle hints of tangerine. Flavors are similar with more wheat and other grains present. I picked an additional note of starfruit as well. The mouth is not as sweet as the nose and the ABV is quite apparent. Lively carbonated and full bodied. Not a bad beer; good experiment.
