Botttle thanks to Danny. Pours a dark brown with beige head. The aroma is strong chili pepper and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with strong roast and chilis, light heat, good.

Awesome blend between hot spiciness & chocolate! The chili really kicks in the middle & leaves a warmth on the palate. This is pretty unique & quite tasty! I’m a fan!

Appearance: muddy cola brown, miniscule light tan head, no lacing. Aroma: earth, frozen jalapeno peppers, black pepper, hint of leather. Taste: very earthy and herbal, with an immediate heat and overwhelming taste of chili peppers. Finish: unforgivingly long, spicy, herbal. Notes: Possibly made with actual guano. Had on draft at the execrable Frankie Farrell’s in Orlando, Florida. My guess is the draft lines there haven’t been cleaned since the place opened, so that may be at least part of the problem. Either way, the pepper notes were just way too strong; made this pretty gross.

Bottle. Pours out a darker brown color with a decent lightly hued brown head. Aroma is of cinnamon, chocolate, light earthy pepper, not too much tell of any heat. Taste is complex, earthy/spicy pepper, hints of some sweet chocolate, syrup, maduro cigar wrapper which probably comes from the earthiness of the peppers. Tasty

Deep opaque brown pour with a small tan head. Smells like slicing up hot peppers on a cutting board, nothing else to note. Spicy right as you sip, but the heat doesn’t really linger or build up to anything uncomfortable. The flavor beneath the spice is a good sweet and heavy stout. Thick and chewy body, but the carbonation is just a little bit too harsh. A hint of heat in the aftertaste reminds me of pimento cheese in a disturbing way. Almost no alcohol presence in the aroma or flavor is surprising at 8.6 abv. Overall this is a fun novelty beer, maybe could use some more chocolate.

It's defiantly got an unique flavor of cocoa and peppers. While they come through, it is not over bearing. Cocoa and pepper is an ancient tradition and this pays tribute to it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ the rake dungeon obtained from my rotbox. Pours a slightly murky brown appearance with a slightly thin brown head. Cinnamon, brownies, dark chocolate, peppers, and vanilla in the nose. Medium body. Kind of tastes like Chinese food. A little bit of residual sweetness but I get a lot of celery and some pepper heat. Light caramel and some chocolate notes. A little thin. I wouldn’t want to drink a full bottle of this on my own. The peppers add a little too much veggie flavor to the beer.
