3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with a small diminishing white head that leaves some lacing on the goblet. Aroma is caramel, pine, citrus; unfortunately it has that smell of an IPA on the backside of fresh. Flavor is medium sweet and quite bitter, without a lot of complexity. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lovely honey gold with hints of amber; frothy head fades quickly with little lacing. Grapefruit/citrus nose less overpowering than anticipated; toasty sweetness of 100% Marris Otter Malts perfectly balances long hoppy finish.

From a 12 oz bottle, thanks Devin. Aroma is English malt, pine, and a light orange. Flavor is English malt, pine, grapefruit, and citrus. Very solid double, nice and balanced for a hop bomb,

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, thanks Sean! Pours a muted golden orange with very thin tan head that quickly disappears. Aroma is orange peel, orange candy, pine, agave and some other lingering sweetness. Taste is malt forward but the subsides into a more citrus and grass to pine deal with the sweetness and bitterness finishing off the taste. This is big and you can tell as the alcohol is hidden well at first but then as you wait around this one is there in the back of your throat. I think I like DIPAs less and less, especially as they get to cellar temp.

Golden color with a thin lasting off white head. Fresh sharp hop nose with tropical fruit and oranges. Thick syrupy mouthfeel with tons of candied orange rind and red grapefruit. This is a nice big hop head beer.
