4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This beer is as close to perfect that Iíve ever had. Strongest most fragrant hop nose Iíve found. Pours a golden cloudness. Mouthfeel is perfectt. The citrus hop flavor to strong through out and not bitterness what so ever. Oh yeah, donít forget the 10+%.
This is the imperial IPA that all others should be judged against.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Comes out of the tap a beautiful hazy golden amber with a fairly thick, fine-bubbled white head. Epic aroma is hoppy in the extreme - it is like smelling a freshly cut pine tree. Flavor is as hoppy as a bullfrog on angel dust, and has hints of grapefruit and orange. Double IPA, hell - this is more like a quadruple IPA! Edgy, ragged texture is quite fizzy and leaves a hoppy and citrus finish. If you like hoppy beers, this one is for you!

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
22oz bottle.Pours a cloudy yellow with a perfect fluffy yet compact white head.Nose is perfumey and floral with many bright citrus notes as well.Taste citrus hops compounded with floral hops blended together PERFECTLY with the sweet Otter Maris malts. This is a West Coast style DIPA for sure and one of the best Iíve ran across.I also believe this is Terrapinís finest offering.(Also tried on tap several times with similar results)

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured from a 12oz Bottle
Appears to be very light, must have been brewed with two row or light grains though has a very robust flavor. Nose is sweet, floral, citrus and hoppy! Not much head on pour, very clear hay yellow color, which is suprising for such a big beer. Slight malt tones with grass hop flavor not much of a citrus note but a little citrus after taste on the tongue. Not as malty as you would think for a big ipa, but does have a nice sweetness. Overall another success from the guys at terrapin!!

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is the finest double IPA ever made. The malts are sufficient to balance the hops and have a light sweetness in character. The hops are almost tropical and though plentiful, not of the overpowering bitterness and urine-like edge of some present poorly hopped ipas.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This was one of the finest beers I had ever had. It lived up to the hype and the steep price tag.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pale golden body looked clear, and exhibited a lot of active carbonation, which formed a one finger thick head. The smell was very citric and tempting me to jump into tasting immediately. The flavor was spicy, sugary, and herbal, with crisp West Coast vibe. Loved the sticky body, and drawn out finish as well. Like a one dimensional B-movie, with some scenes of gore, and a couple of shots of topless girls, this was a simple construction that was greater than the sum of its parts. It was a worthwhile visit. Like Gamma Ray, this deserves to be promoted out of the side project series, and into the main line.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from greenís in atlanta... unforunately one broke in my luggage... first time this has ever happened... Thank TSA, I love the way you repack things. I am glad beer registers on your radar of things that NEED to be checked, but you can not take the time to repack the way it was originally in there.
anyway... my luggage smelled awesome. the MOST fragrant citrus hops I have ever smelled. I want to know what hops they use. amazing.
anyway... past the aroma... this is a really awesome brew. high abv in order to strip more hop oil... the taste does leave a bitterness though... which I find odd. Everything about it is good, VERY sweet hops, but the finish is odd and bitter, thy try so hard to hide the true intention of hops, but it is unmasked at the finish, but by god if you find it get it. for the price, this is a great brew!!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured form a 12 oz. botttle into a tulip glass. Pours a golden amber color with a little bit of haze but not much with a minor light head. Has a great floral/citrus/pine aroma with an undertone of malt. Huge bitter flavor with a side of sweet malt and maybe some fruit. There is also notes of some lemon, and a bit of sourness but that could be the huge bitterness. The alcohol tends to linger on the back end. Average mouthfeel with devent carbonation. Overall a very good Douple IPA.
