Pours an opaque brownish-black from the cask with no real head or lacing to speak of. Aroma of roasted malts, peanut, coffee, and slight dark chocolate. Taste is way more of the peanut and chocolate than the smell. Great stuff, well balanced, interesting, a good dessert beer.

Taste is big chocolate, candy bars, light notes of peanut butter, roasted malt and faint caramel. Body is medium with a strong, dense bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more roasted malt, dark chocolate, candy bars and soft peanut butter.

Draft at Brick Store. Pours dark brown with thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate and light peanut butter. Taste has huge chocolate flavor with peanuts in the finish. Peanuts not overly done. Like a liquid Reese cup. Decent.

Pours out a moderately dark brownish color with a nice off white head. Aroma is of chocolate, some roasted malts, and fresh roasted peanuts. Taste is prettymuch everything they were going for, chocolate peanut butter. Nice balance of the flavors and some roast notes and a touch of bitterness to still remind you it is in fact a beer....a dessert beer, but a beer. Really nicely done, maybe would have liked to see a little thicker of a body....

Bottle. Pours almost black with a tiny brown head. Light roast aroma with peanuts and chocolate. Slightly sweet, lightly roasty flavor with a great combo of peanuts and chocolate. More pronounced peanut notes in the finish. A great tasting porter.

Wow. I’m not gonna be nit picky like the rest, this beer is flat out amazing. It’s a hard idea to make into an actually tasty reality, and terrapin nailed it. Chocolate porter notes with slight subtle peanuts on the nose. Straight reeces peanut butter cups taste-wise, without being to rich or sweet. I agree it could maybe be creamier but overall they did a fantastic job with this beer. Called one of my local stores to hold back what I could.
