The aroma of this beer is definitely the best part. It smells of peanut butter and chocolate. Slight bitter taste. The palate is too thin to be really good.

Bomber. Nose of deep, strong chocolate and hard, dark roast. The peanut butter is super evident in the glass but not out of the bottle; it’s unmistakable and I’m wondering how they solved a tricky problem in process. Stouty brown-black pour with a creamy, rocky light brown head. Watery light body, smooth and gentle, taste is semi-sweet with pb&c, though they’re backed off and a general smooth porter flavor rules the day. Impressed that this wasn’t a massive failure.

Bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Pours black with a half inch of khaki foam. Big peanuts on the nose blending quite lovely with the chocolate maltiness. Lots of peanuts on the tongue. Very smooth and velvety on the tongue. Really fantastic stuff.

Bottle for app vintner - pours cola with little head. Aroma is peanut butter cup, peanuts and chocolate. Taste is sweet with a minerality to it. Palate is thick and creamy with a slightly astringent finish. I thought this was weird at first, but it totally works. Yum!

Solid brew, and I bumped my rating, since I enjoy drinking original beers. Subtle peanut butter smell and taste. Slightly roasty. Well balanced.

Pretty good stuff. Aroma is light raw peanut, some roast, and plenty of chocolate. Pour is dark brown with a thin khaki head. Taste is better than I thought it would be. A nice balance of roasted peanut butter and smooth chocolate. Just the right amount of sweetness. Great.

Quick-take review on this one. Pours opaque, ultra-dark brown with a substaintial tan head. The aroma is subtle, but roasted peanuts are clearly evident. On the palate, you’re first hit with mild chocolate and roastiness and it’s only on the finish that you taste the peanut butter. It sounded sort of gross when I first heard of it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Pours the color of coffee with a visibly light body and thin wispy tan head. Looks kind of flaccid. Nose is weird, like smelling peanut butter from far away after the oil has oxidized. Something in there you could probably call chocolate.... and maybe some dark fruit. Kind of muted on the nose. Flavor is not to my liking... old peanut butter on the finish. Some cacao maybe? Papery and thin with a watery finish/body. Man, ’Liquid Bliss’ may have been a reach in nomenclature here.
