Sampled from bottle @ ChrisO after GBBF day 3. Dark brown to black color with a red glare coming through, average sized off-white to light brown head. Aroma is malts and loads and loads of chocolate. Taste malts, chocolate, quite a lot of vanilla, light to moderately bitter. Medium body and carbonation. A bit too much vanilla for me, but a pretty nice beer for sure.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a dark black color with a smaller sized off white head. Peanut butter, chocolate, roast, and caramel. Peanut butter present. Thinner body.

Bottle 355ml @ Hotel room, Comfort Inn Downtown, Washington, DC
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of rosted malt, chocolate, toffee, peanuts and lactose. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, peanuts and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that dissipates slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, malt and peanut butter. Medium-bodied with flavors of milk chocolate, peanut butter and roast malt. The finish is peanut butter cup and malt. Comparable to Willoughby’s, tasty and enjoyable.

mcberko (9209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2015
12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small off-white head. Aroma brings out loads of fresh peanuts -- not a whole lot else. Flavour isn’t as nice, but still solid, with freshly roasted peanuts (though not peanut butter). Pretty simple, with not much to it. It’s pretty decent, but nothing exciting.

Bottle. Peanut butter, toffee, and chocolate aroma - like a Butterfinger. Dark brown with minimal head. Lightly sweet peanut butter toffee and chocolate malt flavor. Good body. Very tasty.

Scopey (8816) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2014
Bottle at GBBF 2014. It pours near black with minimal beige head. The nose rich roast, sweet peanut butter, salty, husk, grain and cocoa. The taste is toast, roasted malt, mild acidity, wood, twig, toast, light sweetness, nut and coffee with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nose is brilliant but taste is a bit weak. Solid anyhow.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark black pour with tan head, aroma brought ntoes of dark chocolate, roast, coffee, big peanuts, buttery coconut notes, hints of a hint of dark fruit, some slight dark espresso bean notes, nice. Taste is a mix of sweet caramel toffee, lanilla, some artificial peanut notes into a bit of toffee, dark chocolate, finishing bitter, dry. Too bad, the aroma was so good.

Bomber from Capone’s. Pours turbid thick jet blackish with 2-finger tan head. Nose was roasty choc malty, nuts, cacao. Tasted rich, with big notes of cacao, nuts, peanut oil, roasty dark malt, and a true overall feeling of drinking a liquid Reese cup, albeit not as sweet. This one was a true delight.
