2.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Eric and served in a tulip. Opened to celebrate National Peanut Butter Day: Pours a clean deep brown hue with a fizzy fading head and not much lacing. The aroma has notes of peanuts and walnuts along with moderate roast, chocolate and some leathery esters. A hint of herbal hop and cola like syrupy twang. The taste is pretty much that of a standard run of the mill porter, nutty and roasty with a dash of chocolate. Very minimal hop notes and some weird artificial taste on the finish. Even more than the lack of actual Reese Peanut Butter Cup I was so hoping to have is the overwhelming soda like carbonation that just is off-putting. While I like the idea, the execution was terribly flawed leaving me with a standard porter that is over carbonated. Yet another disappointing offering from this brewery.

Fantastic nose of peanut butter (60) and chocolate (40) just pops right out of the glass. feel is thin but super smooth, as is the flavor, which i also loved. They hit the nail on the head with this. 12 oz.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to snifter (thanks newcigarz). Best by 11/19/14. Looks good; a fairly opaque dark chocolate with foamy light beige head. Smells solid; peanut butter, dark malt, dark chocolate, and a bit of roast. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Dark and opaque, what little air is embedded in it delivers not much more than a little swirl on top. The aroma is sweet and chocolate-laden, hinting at a rich one. Indeed, this drinks with a full-on cocoa front, followed by a sweet creaminess that must be a product of the peanut butter. Well done. (#4985, 4/15/2013)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Proof. Dark black pour, thickish khaki colored head. Nice aroma of black potting soil, a hint of peanut butter. Flavor has the same general essence with the peanut butter being on the forefront and a pleasant addition to the usual chocolate porter notes. Chocolate plays along nicely as does the potting soil notes in the back end. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Rather enjoyed this one.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(12oz bottle) dark brown, soapy and fine tan bubbles. Nose of peanuts, peanut butter, dark bakers chocolate. Taste of creamy peanut butter, watery chocolate, peanuts, cream. The body of the beer is one of its best characteristics. Odd linger is a little bitter though and detracts from the drinking experience the most.
