Quick-take review on this one. Pours opaque, ultra-dark brown with a substaintial tan head. The aroma is subtle, but roasted peanuts are clearly evident. On the palate, you’re first hit with mild chocolate and roastiness and it’s only on the finish that you taste the peanut butter. It sounded sort of gross when I first heard of it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Great stuff. A tiny bit thin but overall good. Peanut butter and toasted malt nose. Palate is oily with peanut butter and tootsie roll. From cottage hill package store.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Aroma is cocoa, peanut butter and malts. Appearance is black in color and tannish head. Taste is of malt with a chocolate. Palate is medium bodied beer with a moderate of carbonation. Overall one of the better chocolate/peanut butter stouts. I'm sure many won't like it because it's like a candy bar.

Draught @ The Shannon Rose. Pours inky dark brown with small beige foamy head, chocolate peanut aroma, low carbonation, peanut buttter chocolate taste, slightly sweet long finish, chocolare aftertaste. Great beer though a bit too chocolatey.

Pours a dark black with light tan head. Has a strong chocolate aroma. Taste is strong with cocoa beans, grains, and light nuts and coffee. A creamy texture and lingering chocolate taste.

Bottle. Peanut butter, toffee, and chocolate aroma - like a Butterfinger. Dark brown with minimal head. Lightly sweet peanut butter toffee and chocolate malt flavor. Good body. Very tasty.

This is decent porter, but the peanut bitter is just too overpowering. Really masks the roasted malts. Smells like peanut butter. Pours thick and black like motor oil

Tap @ Pour. I liked a couple of other pb/choc ones better. Brown with thin head. Smells like dark fruits plus nuts. Taste is roasty and bitter. Not as chocolatey or nutty as promised, but not bad.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pouts black with brown hues with a one finger tan head with nice lacing. Aroma is of peanut butter, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, and sweet malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma with some nice peanut butter and chocolate notes. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, semi dry, medium finish. Overall, a tasty porter that is’nt overly sweet like a lot of beer brewed with penut butter.

Like a dark chocolate peanut butter bar. Pours black with OK head. Light bitter, toasty finish. Ok but not my thing. Tap at pizzeria paradiso.
