I had this limited release fresh and on-tap at Terrapin Brewery. I typically only have 2 pints of anything, but this one was different. I had 5 or 6 or 7. I COULD NOT get enough of it.

Sable beer, tan head. I hate Terrapin labels. Standard 12oz longneck. Liked the aroma - smells more like toasted almonds and hazelnuts to me than peanuts - sweetish, choco, nuts, vanilla. Body is on the lightish side. The draw is smooth, lightly roasty, nutty. The bitterness is all alcohol and roast. Finishes out lightly sweet. There’s an occasional bit of tinniness in the high palate, but that’s a very minor critique. Overall, pretty decent, a nice novelty, but I wouldn’t want to consume more than one in a sitting. Thanks to PorterPounder for the trade.

Fantastic nose of peanut butter (60) and chocolate (40) just pops right out of the glass. feel is thin but super smooth, as is the flavor, which i also loved. They hit the nail on the head with this. 12 oz.

Pours a dark brown w/ a tan head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is Reese’s peanut butter cup. The taste is also like a peanut butter cup w/ a but of bitterness in the finish. Pretty tasty for what may be considered a 1 trick pony!

Bottle to snifter (thanks newcigarz). Best by 11/19/14. Looks good; a fairly opaque dark chocolate with foamy light beige head. Smells solid; peanut butter, dark malt, dark chocolate, and a bit of roast. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Bottle to glass. Pours a murky brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is toasted malts, nutty, light chocolate, and a hint of peanut butter. Flavor loses the peanut butter, but still has some nice nutty, sweet toasted malt character. Medium in body and relatively smooth. Slight peanut butter in the finish. Overall pretty solid. Way better than Sweet Baby Jesus!

Bottle->sampler. Dark brown with thin offwhite head. Chocolate, peanut extract, malt. Flavor by DuPont. Not a fan.

Bottle thanks to urielxvi. Dark brown pour with a small head that fades to a very thin ring. Aromas are peanut brittle, chocolate and vanilla. Tastes like dry roasted peanuts, cocoa powder, vanilla and a hint of creamy peanut butter. Thin and dry mouthfeel. This would be much better if it was sweeter but it’s still a decent peanut butter beer.

Small tan thats short lived. Black bodied Porter. Nose is awesome! Fresh roasted peanuts out the Wazoo! Little bit of chocolate helps too. Body is middlin with a slim carbonation, lightly creamy, sorta thin, unfortunately. Nice roasty peanut flavors with a slight chocolate backing and a hint of caramel but a bit thin and watery. Dry, peanutty, roasty finish. An awesome nose with decent flavors but a bit thin in the body.Aint no SWEET BABY JESUS though! Better than expected. bottle from statelineliquors.

Sampled from bottle @ ChrisO after GBBF day 3. Dark brown to black color with a red glare coming through, average sized off-white to light brown head. Aroma is malts and loads and loads of chocolate. Taste malts, chocolate, quite a lot of vanilla, light to moderately bitter. Medium body and carbonation. A bit too much vanilla for me, but a pretty nice beer for sure.

Tastes as advertised. Chocolate roast malt and dry roasted peanut flavor. Nice and relatively dry with peanut skin flavor and chocolate roasty malt. medium body. Jenna didn’t hate it. Solid.
