Black pour orange tint ... Thin off white head ... Aroma of peanut butter and roasted malts with a light chocolate ... Mouthfeel is thin and porter like ... Taste is of roasted and chocolate malts .... Peanut butter gets lost sadly in the taste and its just a plain but tasty porter ... Kudos for the awesome aroma

This porter poured a black colour with a nice, creamy, tan coloured head. First swig was quite toasty with flavours of cocoa, light peanut butter, roasted/burnt malts. Scents of peanut butter and smoke. Finish is toasty and led sweet. Very good!

Bottle split with my wife. Pours a deep cola brown with a medium sized tan head that falls quickly. Some light floaties. Big thick peanut butter on the nose, soft cocoa and chocolate. Medium bodied, cocoa, light roast, a touch acrid. Thins out and picks up some greasy peanut butter and old cocoa. Finishes a touch empty, faint chocolate and cocoa, a hint of peanut butter.

Very strong and prominent smell, strong peanut butter and chocolate smell, quote good actually taste is more chocolate bitterness though, peanut butter almost all gone, can’t tell about hops...medium strong flavor that gets more rough with time

Draft. Dark brown. Thick head. Has a fun peanut and chocolate character in both the nose and the palate. Maybe a shade thin.

Bottle, 12oz. A dark brown beer topped by a small, dense, dark beige head. Quite oily. Lots of chocolate and peanut butter in the aroma, some roasted notes in the back. It’s medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, rather oily and surprisingly dry on the palate. Peanut butter, chocolate and a nice bitterness in the flavor. There’s not much bitterness, but it suits the beer just fine. Lasting peanut butter and chocolate finish. I can’t really decide if I like it or not. Well, I like it, but it’s a bit intense in a way. But it’s sure nice anyway. 150619

Bottle 355ml @ Hotel room, Comfort Inn Downtown, Washington, DC
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of rosted malt, chocolate, toffee, peanuts and lactose. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, peanuts and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tasting at Matt’s
Black color, small frothy head. Nice aroma of roasted peanuts and dark malt. Dry mouthfeel, some dark caramel flavor, the peanut comes in an artificial way; very low bitterness.
It would work better with a sweeter and bolder beer.

Bottle - Peanut and dark chocolate. Deep Amber with a small beige head. Lots of peanut and chocolate. A little artificial in taste, but still pretty decent.

12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small off-white head. Aroma brings out loads of fresh peanuts -- not a whole lot else. Flavour isn’t as nice, but still solid, with freshly roasted peanuts (though not peanut butter). Pretty simple, with not much to it. It’s pretty decent, but nothing exciting.
