Poured from the bomber to a light watery-yellow appearance with a thin white head that dissipated quickly and left little lacing. Aroma was a not so pleasant mix of apples and floral scents. Mouthfeel was thin and both taste and finish were slightly on the dishwater side. Not one of Terrapin’s best by any means.

Pours a hazy yellow with short fluffy head. Aroma of peaches predominately. Taste is peach ,clove and spice. Pretty refreshing.

Bottle… Hazy golden ale with orange highlights and a small, fizzy, white head. The bouquet furnishes peach, pear and spicy clove. Light-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is nicely balanced and mildly acidic. Not at all sweet, but also, not at all bitter. Finishes crisp and tangy.

Originally reviewed: 3/29/10. Poured this into a tulip glass. Pours a cloudy darker gold, with a thin white head on top. Retention was pretty weak, but there were lots of spotty globs of lace left over after each sip. Scents of yeast, pineapple, grains, sour apples, and a bit of honey. The body was crisp, bordering on effervescent. Smooth going down though. This was one of the more bready Saisons I’ve had. Pretty filling beer. The tart yeast comes out in the flavor, but it’s rather subtle. Mild fruitiness on the backend, but again, lots of bread here. I like it. I could handle this bomber no problem. Great refreshing beer. Even though this is a one-off, my local store has a bunch of these left. I may have to grab a few more for the summer. Recommend.

Maggie’s pours a clear bubble filled light amber color. Medium sized frothy head. Ton of lacing. The smell is yeasty and bready. Spicy with a hint of grassy and herbal hops. Finish that off with a nice sweet aroma of fruit. I was really hoping for more of a funky smell but what I got was more of a fresh clean smell. Not bad but just not what I was hoping for. The taste is also very clean and crisp. Light amount of fruit, especially orange. Small amount of tartness. A shot of yeast and wheat. It ends with the grassy hop flavor. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and crisp. Goes down really easy.

22 oz. bottle and damn if I can’t remember who sent this to me. Thanks to the nice soul I’m ignoring! Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head that settles unevenly. Aroma of farmhouse funk, apples, white grapes, candi sugar, straw, cereal, and sweet bready malts. Flavor of farmhouse funk, apples, apricots, sweet doughy malts, and cereal. Light-medium bodied, with a funky, sweet, and dry mouthfeel and medium, crisp carbonation. Drinking really nice right now, and hit the spot on a warm summer night while grilling out.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice aroma of herbs, Brett, light lactic notes, lemony. In mouth, a nice herbaceous malt with light lemony notes, smooth and refreshing, light Brett, well done. Bottle was 6 months old. Tasted June 18, 2011.

Bomber. Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is yeasty esters, pale malt, floral hops. Tastes yeasty, spicy, hoppy, on the dry side, with late florals and peppery notes.

Bomber. Aroma of citrus, esp. grapefruit, spice, minerals. Flavor of dry tropical fruits, pineapple, even some coconut; nicely tart, but with a sweet stewed fruitiness. A bit dirty and bitter. Complex, original beer.

Clear gold body that makes a decent white head. Fragrant, fruity aroma with some funk and spice. Mildly sweet flavor, some spice and funk that were hinted to in the aroma. Subtle dryness in the finish.

22oz bottle, I’m guessing this is quite a bit old now, at least a few years. Pours with a nice doughy, spicy aroma. Interesting. Pours with a pillowtop head that disappears a bit quickly, I like the interesting yeasty character. A bit too watery for me though. Still nice.
