Aroma is hoppy but has a very earthy malt. Color is a dark brown with a small white ring. Taste is hop but lacks most else kinda like a void where good flavor or good hop should be. Palate is lacking hop finish but has a stale sweetness.

Split a 22oz bottle amongst friends. Poured a reddish brown color with a off-white head. Aroma was sweet grapefruit citrus notes, some spicy rye character. Flavor was caramel notes dancing amongst grapefruits and oranges. Rye was welcome to the party and contributed some spice character to it.

A decent rye beer. Aroma was decent. Strong rye bread and bread crust aromas. Pour was stunning. Deep dark murky red with a one finger light tan head. This is the nicest color of red I’ve ever seen in a beer. Taste was average. Strong rye flavors dominate with earthy hops in the back. A weird malt/grapefruit combination is there and borderlines muddled. Nice strong carbonation round the beer out. Spicy, semi-bitter and easy to drink.

Brownish amber pour. Light fruit notes, rye malt is bready and crusty. The flavor is metallic, fruit, not super malty. Low bitterness.
