COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Taking the Orient and the rest of the world by storm, Krunkles returns! In this edition of the bearded IPA brewer’s saga, “Samurai Krunkles,” as he was once known in the Far East, pulls out all the hops from his katana’s sheath to make this Asian flared brew. While traveling around the Pacific in a souped up rickshaw pulled by his trusty side kick Cato, Krunkles uncovered unique brewing ingredients such as jasmine rice, jasmine green tea and the finest ginger the Orient had to offer for this Samurai master’s ale. Bomber from Capone’s. Pours turbid orange with 1-finger clingy off-white head. Nose is sesame oily resiny hops, ginger, floral spice, tropical citrus fruit, and pale ricey malt. Tastes dry, bitter, tannic, with resiny hops, pine, sorachi hops, and a high IBU level with hops that never let up and a definite Asian flair. This one would be perfect with won ton soup and extra spicy hunan pork.

Bomber. Poured cloudy orangish-golden with a creamy off-white head. The aroma picked up juicy mango, orange, and herbal notes over caramel and lesser biscuity notes.. ginger came through as it warmed.. interesting stuff. The flavor found bitter tea and orange zest over mostly biscuity malt.. tea and ginger really ramped up on the back and through the finish.. not my favorite flavors, but interesting and well-done. Medium-bodied with a lot of tea character on the palate.. moderate carbonation.. solid brew.
