Pint at Tylers.. good aroma, sweet, peachy, apricoty. Clean brownish orange, ok head minor pacing. Sweet bitter flavor. Light body, oily creamy mouthfeel, sweet finish. Good, not wowing me. Would of like more out the flavor, mouthfeel is best part.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours an unclear dark orange with beige head. Smell is big citrus, orange rind, grapefruit, some malty sweetness, apricot. Taste is similar, which was nice but the bitterness was lacking. Love citra and this was a nice offering

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber poured into glass. Another terrapin beer I’ve been looking forward to trying. While I enjoyed this beer quite a bit I really wished it was a bit more hoppy. I guess it just wasn’t super fresh.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
11/30/12. 22oz bomber from Grassroots. Hazed amber brown pour with a nice khaki head that fizzles to half and gets soapy but laces plenty. The aroma honestly doesn’t scream fresh hop aroma like I was hoping. There’s some citrus and tropical aspects but mostly some caramel and a hint of fresh hop sourness. Sweet caramel and fruity hop flavor with lingering pineapple, peach, and fresh green hops... a bit better than the aroma led on. Good, but not what I was hoping for.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: 22 oz bottle from Oak Tree, 11/29/12, 2012 Citra Hops
Aroma: The nose has some pine hops, a little grapefruit, and some malty notes as well
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear dark orange color with a bubbly off-white head and sticky lace
Flavor: This one has a light/citrusy sweetness, with a nice, clean medium bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a nice mouthfeel, average carbonation, and a dry finish
This one works pretty well. The flavor does a nice job of highlighting the fresh hops. It is quite drinkable, even dangerously so, you can barely tell there’s any alcohol in here. Very solid. Of this series, the only other one I have tried was the Amarillo, and this one was better.
