Keg at Kickbacks, RBWG. Pours thick black with no head, some kind of dark berries in the nose, perhaps licorice. Big sweet flavor, dark malts, chocolate-covered orange. Full bodied and pretty much flat. Sticky sweet finish, lightly warming, dark berries, syrupy sugars. Interesting.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a very small sized head of frothy brown colored bubbles that were and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a medium aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of spices dark malt and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Kind of a disappointment, honestly, with the cinnamon being a bit too pronounced and the barrel elements outweighing the coffee that makes the original W-n-B a pretty good, if not great beer. Not bad, easy enough to drink, but just nothing super special.

Pours an opaque black on tap with thin tan head and good lacing. Aroma of whiskey, coffee, chocolate, and slight vanilla. Taste follows, boozy with a bitter sweet finish. Great damn version of the beer.

Big flavoured stout, but also boozy. On tap at Kickbacks. Woody character. A sipper. Black with little head.

Draft only at kickbacks in Jacksonville. Pours a great jet black color with minimal head. Aroma is nice of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, molasses and bourbon. Mouthfeel is silky smooth. There are notes of coffee, chocolate, bourbon, oak and maybe some dark fruit. Finishes with a nice smooth bitterness that doesn?t last too long. There is minimal carbonation but it works amazingly well. This is a great beer that I hope to have again!

Draft. Only Steve could have such a concoction on tap at Kickbacks. Pours a dark brown/black color with a minimal tan collared head ringing the glass. Dark chocolate, roast, molassess, vanilla, and barrel notes in the nose. Medium/heavy mouthfeel. Smooth is the first word that comes to mind, smooth and sexy. Very tasty, the flavors seem to be very well incorporated. The bouron is there but not overpowering. Bottle this.

Excellent, boozy stout. Poured black with a ring of dark brown head. Big aroma of dark chocolate, burnt sugar, and coffee. Taste was complex with equal amounts of chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, roasted malts and coffee with a pleasing and long lasting bourbon and coffee aftertaste. The coffee was high quality and really blended well. Best use of bourbon and coffee in a beer that I’ve tasted. Very smooth, almost no carbonation, but I think that worked well. Wonderful stuff, lucky to have tried.

First to rate! On tap at Kickbacks! Dark black pour with a small brown head. Rich aroma with tons of complexity. There’s coffee and dark chocolate on top of lots of vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, fudge, and plenty of bourbon. Rich flavor deliciously paralleling all of the above. Awesome!
