Keg at Kickbacks, RBWG. Pours thick black with no head, some kind of dark berries in the nose, perhaps licorice. Big sweet flavor, dark malts, chocolate-covered orange. Full bodied and pretty much flat. Sticky sweet finish, lightly warming, dark berries, syrupy sugars. Interesting.

Draft... RBWG 2013... This beer rocks!… Pours pitch black with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is a decadent swirl of dark chocolate, fudge and cinnamon. I’m not picking up any bourbon barrel or vanilla here. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavor is burnt, bitter and a little boozy – smooth though - no rough edges. Nice essences of cinnamon, dark chocolate and smoke. Acrid, singed, coffee finish with a pinch of cinnamon in the enjoyable aftertaste. World class base beer and a solid treatment!

Tap at Kickbacks for RBWG JAX. Pours a inky black with low carbonation. Mocha ring of foam. Nose is Hersey milk chocolate, black olive, licorice, black crayon. Taste is odd- cedar, licorice, parsnip, ginger, peppermint. Palate was weak, thinner, very woody. Long, tannic wood finish. Was a bit baffling to our table.

First to rate! On tap at Kickbacks! Dark black pour with a small brown head. Rich aroma with tons of complexity. There’s coffee and dark chocolate on top of lots of vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, fudge, and plenty of bourbon. Rich flavor deliciously paralleling all of the above. Awesome!

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a very small sized head of frothy brown colored bubbles that were and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a medium aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of spices dark malt and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft at Kickbacks. Pours a dark stout brown with a minimal tan head. Nose was a strange amalgamation of dark fruit, roasted malts, coffee, some light vanilla, and the big Wake N Bake coffee trying to come through. Flavor was similar- there was some fruit, but mild coffee, light vanilla, and some roast. Medium in body and interesting overall.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at Kickbacks, RBWG welcome dinner. Pours muddy brown with a small, spotty tannish ehad. Nose is slightly trainwreckish--spices, booze, wood, cedar, light vanilla. Flavor is similar, light paint, sharpie, nutmeg, light cinnamon, and booze. Kinda what I expected actually considering other W-n-B treatments I have had in the past.
