COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Sunray Wheat is a German style unfiltered wheat beer brewed with a touch of local, Georgia Coast, Tupelo honey from the Savannah Bee Company. It’s inviting banana/sweet clove like aroma gives way to a pleasant, clean finish with a hint of tartness.

A cloudy, yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has notes of wheat, lemon, honey, and faint cloves. The light body has a watery texture and average carbonation. The taste is moderately sweet with a refreshing finish.

Draft @ Hickory Hops 2011, Hickory, NC. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty grainy aroma with weak clove and banana hints. Sweetish wheat malty grainy flavor with hints of honey. Sweetish wheat malty honey and weak banana finish.

12oz Bottle., Pours a hazy pale gold with no head. Honey and a bit of clove hit me. Medium bodied with very low carbonation. Flavor is really sweet, maybe from the honey I guess. Some yeast and clove in the flavor. Lingering honey notes. Overall a failure in my opinion.

Pours hazy gold with a thin white head that sticks around. Nice light aroma with lots of wheat, lemon, citrus. Light bodied and refreshing but still has a decent amount of flavor. Bit of sweetness, no real bitterness, light banana on the finish. A nice summer beer.

Bottle pour. The aroma produced from this beer was remarkable. Hints of sweetness and spice paired with banana and citrus to make this one a winner in my book. The taste was great too. Just the right amount of honey to make this sweet but not too sweet. Flavors of banana and citrus ride alongside the sweet flavors of honey and are followed by a wheat bitter that is quite satisfying. This beer is quite refreshing too. Worst part is the appearance. The color is nice and golden - good for a wheat beer, but the head is dead and lifeless with no lacing. Hell, it tastes good though and that’s what really matters in my book.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, pale straw color with a medium off-white head that fades quickly. The aroma is wheat, lemongrass, and coriander. The flavor is sweet and spicy up front, with a fairly long, sour finish. The palate is medium, well carbonated, and thick. Overall, flavorful and strong for a wheat beer.

12 oz bottle. Pour is a hazy yellow gold, no head or lacing. Aromas of coconut, hops, orange peel, hibiscus, coriander, honey, lemon drops. Taste is a nice balance of a belgian white and a refreshing citrusy pale or wheat beer, good malt profile. Not the best beer from Terrapin but refreshing on a scorching hot day.
