COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Sunray Wheat is a German style unfiltered wheat beer brewed with a touch of local, Georgia Coast, Tupelo honey from the Savannah Bee Company. It’s inviting banana/sweet clove like aroma gives way to a pleasant, clean finish with a hint of tartness.

Not a great beer at all, not terrible, I wouldnt buy it again. I was expecting substantially more. Nothign special, wheat beer with grainy flavor, light body, drinkable and bland.

12 ounce bottle, best enjoyed by November 1, 2010, part of the Terrapin “All The Hits” variety pack. Served in a weizen glass, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch white head which goes away pretty quickly. Little bit of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is wheat, cloves, and a bit of bubblegum and lemon zest. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, but there’s also some honey noticable. Mouthfeel/body is light, it’s nice and crisp with good carbonation. Drinkability is decent enough. Overall it’s not a bad brew. It’s not the best hefe out there, but still a decent enough beer that I wouldn’t have any problem drinking again.

Aroma is wheat and slight hint of banana... Color is cloudy golden orange... Flavor is rich and wheaty, notes of ripe bananas, very flavorful for a wheat ale... Well done

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with Vin. Pours a hazy yellow with a fluffy, pillowy white head. Aroma of honey, hay, wheat, orange juice, and hops. Medium to thin body, with a loose, mildly tangy palate. Smooth, thirst-quenching finish. Good wheat beer.

Pours golden with a little haze, small white head. Aroma is wheat, honey, florals, vanilla and lemon. Taste is sweet with the floral aspects coming through strongly. Light body make this a suitable session beer.

Golden yellow pour ... translucent with a white head - most of which disappeared after a minute or two. Somewhat tart aromas a little clove and mild banana ... almost a mix between what I would expect from a pilsner and a German wheat selection. Lots of bubbles in the glass but doesn’t translate to the palate in the carbonation department. Light bodied with a slightly creamy texture ... hints of bananas a some honey. Clean finish ... with no lingering flavors. This is a great summer beer for the hot nights on the deck. Definitely worth a try if you like hefferveisens.

Pours cloudy yellow with small white head that is gone instantly. Aroma is citrus and honey. Tastes like Widmer Hefe but poorly executed. Nice, easy to drink, smooth summer wheat beer. Nothing special here though. Terrapin is definitely hit and miss on their line-up.
