Bottle: Pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a spotty-lacing ring of white head. Has a lightly sweet biscuity pale malty nose with some mild banana and clove spice with lots of citric tartness. Starts with a light body and some effervescence with mild wheaty sweetness and plenty of tart citric lemon notes before a drier, crisp, lightly puckering finish. This is practically a Berliner weisse with all the tartness, but it’s still pretty drinkable.

Sour yellow.White head can’t hold. Smells real good like gear oil and grease. Tastes like bananas, vanilla and club soda. Great late night, I mean early morning snack. They say there’s honey in it, but I can’t think why they would tell anyone that. Light lacing. Medium body. too heavy to drink just one.

"Part of a surprise package sent up from bluesandbarbq, thanks again Louis. 1st Hefeweizen of 2010 and another fantastic example of authenticity by an American brewery. Cloudy yellow gold pour producing a brilliant white head and heavy lacing. Strong aromas of sweet wheat, orange-lemon-banana fruits, spicy clove and bubblegum. Crisp & light, moderately sweet with a surprisingly dry finish. Balanced with a traditional German wheat beer flavors. Banana, crisp wheat, clove and citrus."
