Super coffee. Chocolate. Lots of coffee. Nice. A very good beer that has some of that Founders Kentucky Breakfast style to it. Well done.

This poured a thick almost night black color with a tan head. Aroma was really roasted but not burnt w/ hints of dark chocolate as well. Flavor was silky smooth, roasted malts and hints of smoke and sweet chewy malts

Bottle. Pours a thick viscous black, no light getting through here. Decent foamy head rapidly dissipates to nothing. Flavor is soft sweet and chewy, notes of caramel malt, milk and dark chocolate, coffee, toffee, and a big bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar and a bit of milk stirred in. Finish is black coffee dry. Medium to full bodied, a bit syrupy and chewy. Alcohol is well hidden, I had assumed this was a lower ABV by drinking it. Solid beer.

A nice impy. Aroma was great. Full of coffee and chocolate. Pour was a flat black with no bubbles or head. Taste was velvety and smooth. All coffee with just a hint of bitter chocolate in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel was very thin and and there was little to no carbonation. Thats a shame as with some carbonation this would be a great beer.

Wow, this great, the aroma is an initial flavor of wood and coffee, the mouth feel is velvety with some smooth that goes all the way through, take with light coffee mild cocoa and dark malts all the way through. this a true winner.

The aroma is like rubber, coffee, oatmeal, burnt malt, and hops. The appearance is almost black with a tan head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is about what it should be. Overall I am just not crazy about beers with added coffee. They seem acidic and stale.

Wonderful beer. Pours beautiful, thick, black, with a caramel colored head that flows over the glass like syrup. Very well balanced with a great mouth feel. Velvet smooth dark chocolate, caramel, a great deal of coffee. Its like a decadent desert. Delicious.

Thanks Daknole. Pours like old motor oil with a small orange/tan head that does not last long. Light aroma is chocolate and cold coffee. There is nothing light about the flavor. It is full of chocolate and coffee and they combine in an impressively smooth fashion. Coffee comes to the forefront as it warms and alcohol can be noticed. Faint hops in the aftertaste This is a coffee monster. Feel is silky but a bit chalky and is somewhat a vegetable oil effect. This beer is well above medium in feel and is thick and substantial. This beer is not very far from being world class.
